New On HBO Max In May 2023: White House Plumbers, The Other Two Season 3
As May 2023 approaches, HBO Max is gearing up to reveal an exciting array of new TV shows and movies. Subscribers can look forward to a wealth of fresh content, with select titles set to debut as early as May 1, and others releasing throughout the month, providing a diverse range of entertainment choices for subscribers to indulge in.
White House Plumbers hits HBO Max on May 1. The limited series imagines how Richard Nixon’s political saboteurs, Hunt (Woody Harrelson) and Liddy (Justin Theroux), accidentally toppled the presidency they sought to protect. Set in 1971, this satirical drama follows the former CIA and FBI agents as they investigate the Pentagon Papers leak and land on the Committee to Re-Elect the President. The series sheds light on the lesser-known events that led to one of the greatest political scandals in American history. The show’s ensemble cast includes Lena Headey, Kiernan Shipka, Ike Barinholtz, Yul Vazquez, and more.
The Other Two, which is coming back for Season 3 on May 4, is a TV show created, written, and executive produced by former SNL co-head writers Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider. It stars Drew Tarver (Bajillion Dollar Propertie$), Heléne Yorke (High Maintenance, Masters of Sex), Case Walker, Ken Marino (Party Down), and Molly Shannon (The White Lotus, Divorce). The story follows Brooke and Cary (Yorke and Tarver), whose 14-year-old brother ChaseDreams (Walker) has retired from being a pop star. However, their situation becomes more complicated as their 53-year-old mother Pat (Molly Shannon) gains fame with her own talk show, leaving Brooke and Cary feeling humiliated as The Other Two in the family once again.
