AMC, Where Heartbreak Feels Good, Will Now Let You Get Fired Via Zoom In Its Theaters
Beginning sometime in 2023, AMC Theaters and Zoom are coming together to allow audience members to video chat from the comfort of their local movie theater. The two companies announced the collaboration in a small press release that gave faint details, but Variety is reporting at least 17 AMC locations across the United States will work together with Zoom to facilitate conference calls between “small, medium and large-sized groups” in different venues.
Additional services like food and beverage selections, possible movie viewings, and other meeting needs will also be available at an additional cost, the release also said.
It’s hard to imagine that dazzling images on a huge silver screen just means choppy video of your friends or even your bosses if for some reason they decide to host a post-Wakanda Forever conference call. The hope for the collaboration is to enable companies with decentralized workforces and customer bases to meet for “cohesive virtual and in-person events and meeting experiences”.

Marnie Simpson was joined by her partner, former Union J star Casey Johnson, who carried their two year old son Rex.
Lauren spoke about the preparations for Larose on Instagram, writing: “Just wrapped @BABYLAROSE presents and my Lorena was with me in my heart the whole time with her candle lit.
“Very emotional evening for Mummy, but can’t wait to see my big girl in the morning.”
Lauren has spoken out about her recent tragedy and revealed how Lorena’s umbilical cord is thought to have been knotted twice in a “rare” turn of events which led to her death.

Knots in the cord can restrict blood flow and oxygen to the baby, and put them at risk of serious harm or in severe cases, stillbirth.
Lauren told New magazine: “No one knew about the knots in the cord, all we’ve been told is that it’s very uncommon to have two knots.
“I was a low-risk pregnancy. There was no sign of any problems. A few hours before she was born, she was going to be absolutely fine, that’s what it is so heartbreaking.”

Lauren also explained that she still “has a bit of a bump” which often has sometimes tricked into thinking her baby girl is “still there”.
“I’ve still got a bit of a bump, this one’s not shifting,” she explained of her recovering body after the traumatic birth of baby Lorena.
“It sometimes feels like she’s still there, it’s weird. My body feels like it’s unsettled, like it’s missing a newborn.”
