Nvidia’s DLSS offering expands today with 5 new titles and an upgrade for Forza Horizon 5
Nvidia’s DLSS technology gets another update today, adding five new titles to the service, updating another, and improving the tools available to developers wishing to use the game-changing setup.
For the unfamiliar, DLSS stands for Deep Learning Super Sampling, and is basically a method of using AI technology to increase the frame rates you can output in compatible PC games – allowing you to theoretically crank up graphics-intensive settings including ray tracing without tanking performance.
With DLSS, you can do things like max out Cyberpunk 2077, including with ray tracing, and still achieve 60 or even 120 frames per second. When it works, it’s a bloody magical feature. There’s a catch, of course – you’ll need a compatible Nvidia RTX graphics card, and games have to be individually updated for DLSS compatibility.
Lego 2K Drive looks like a bricky blend of Forza Horizon and Sonic Racing
After some early leaks these last few days, publisher 2K have officially announced Lego 2K Drive, an open-world racer that looks surprisingly awesome – if you’ll excuse the low-hanging adjective. The game features co-op, multiplayer modes, and the ability to transform between air and land vehicles, Team Sonic Racing-style. The downside? Its collection of pre-order bonuses probably needs a graph of some kind to understand.

Destiny, Horizon, And John Wick Star Lance Reddick Dies At 60
Actor Lance Reddick, best known for his role as Cedrick Daniels in the hit HBO series The Wire, has passed away at the age of 60. TMZ was first to report, with Variety subsequently confirming with his reps that the causes were natural.
Reddick had been in the middle of a press tour for the upcoming fourth installment of the John Wick franchise, in which he played the character Charon. However, he did not attend the New York City premiere of the movie and–as TMZ also reported–instead posted a selfie video on social media from home with his dogs, without any explanation for his absence.
In addition to The Wire and John Wick, Lance had recurring roles on popular TV shows such as Fringe, Bosch, Oz, and Lost. He also appeared in films like Angel Has Fallen and Godzilla Vs. Kong. Reddick was also a voice actor for many video games including a long-running role in Destiny and Destiny 2 as Commander Zavala, who has been one of the key characters in the series. He has also been featured in the Horizon series, Quantum Break, and John Wick Hex.
