Why we like it
Check out our full review of the M1 MacBook Air.
Even with the new MacBook releases this year, the M1 MacBook Air from 2020 remains a worthwhile part of Apple’s lineup. Most people won’t need the power of an M1 Pro chip for day-to-day tasks — for that, a standard M1 works just fine. Its lightweight design makes it plenty portable, and it boasts about 15 hours of battery life. Best of all, though, is its affordability, especially in a line of laptops known for being the opposite. The lead-up to Cyber Week brought the return to the record-low pricing we’ve only seen a few other times throughout the year. (You can also grab it for the same price from Best Buy).

Why we like it
Just last week, the 10th gen iPad dropped $30, putting it at a new low price, but the record has already been beaten, thanks to this $50 price drop. The latest standard iPad comes with a much-needed redesign, including the landscape front-facing camera. For iPad seekers who really only need the basics, we still recommend the 9th gen iPad, which you can grab for over $100 cheaper. If you want a slightly stepped-up entry-level tablet, the 10th gen is available for $50 off at Amazon and Best Buy in every colorway.

Why we like it
Check out Mashable’s official review of the iPhone 13 Mini.
The iPhone 14 will be a hot ticket item this holiday season, but the iPhone 13 is by no means outdated. Its new MSRP is $100 cheaper on Apple’s website, or you can snag a new 13 mini for free if you open a new line at Verizon on an unlimited plan.

(opens in a new tab)
Why we like it
To be honest, there isn’t a world of difference between the Series 7 and Series 8 (which follows the trend from the last few Apple Watch upgrades). So, if you’re interested in a model with cellular capabilities but uninterested in a $499 price tag, this Series 7 pick from Best Buy saves you a ton of cash without sacrificing too much functionality. The Series 7 has all the same health features as the Series 8, minus only the temperature sensor and crash detection.

Why we like it
Check out our full review of the AirPods Pro.
The AirPods Pro were some of the first buds to prove that no, you actually don’t need to double the size of your head via over-the-ear headphones to get pretty decent active noise cancellation. That claim to fame originally came with a $250 price tag, but thanks to the release of the new gen and some holiday deals, you can grab them for only $179. It’s not the lowest price ever, but it’s still a decent deal if you’re not willing to shell out the extra $50 for the newer gen.

Apple Could Start Manufacturing Some iPads in India
There have been no “concrete plans” established as of yet, but discussions are ongoing, and Apple is motivated to expand manufacturing in countries outside of China. Sources that spoke to CNBC warned that India has a lack of “highly skilled talent and individuals with expertise in building highly complex devices,” which could slow down Apple’s efforts.
Transitioning some manufacturing to India has been Apple’s plan since 2017. The company began with producing some older iPhone models like the iPhone SE in the country, and has slowly ramped up iPhone manufacturing. The launch of the iPhone 14 models marked the first time that Apple used India for the manufacturing of flagship iPhones, and some of the iPhone 14 models are assembled in India.
Apple supplier Foxconn has also been investing in India, and Apple is said to be aiming to produce approximately 25 percent of iPhones in India by 2025. Other Apple suppliers such as Wistron and Pegatron have expanded to India to help Apple expand manufacturing outside of China as part of a long term goal.
Apple has been criticized for its reliance on China, which has become a major issue in 2022 with rising tensions between the U.S. and China and the ongoing COVID-19 lockdowns in the country. Right now, Apple’s iPhone 14 Pro models are in short supply due to restrictions at Foxconn manufacturing facilities that resulted in worker riots and protests.
In November, Apple confirmed that iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max shipments would be lower than expected due to the issues at the Foxconn facility. Foxconn is responsible for manufacturing approximately 70 percent of the iPhone 14 Pro models. Apple could see a significant hit to holiday revenue as a result, and shipments are not expected to return to normal until late December at the earliest.
While Apple has been working to reduce its presence in China for many years, The Wall Street Journal said over the weekend that Apple’s plans to shift production to other countries like India and Vietnam have accelerated. Apple is telling its suppliers to “plan more actively” for assembling iPhones in other countries.

Apple is not famous for its sales — at least not through its own website and stores. Though its Black Friday and Cyber Monday sale has started, offering customers gift cards ranging from $50 to $150 with select purchases, there are better deals out there.
Case in point — Amazon, Best Buy, Target, and Walmart have had Cyber Week deals going for actual weeks, offering hundreds of dollars in savings.
Basically, all the good Apple deals we find from other retailers year-round are even better at the moment. For instance, the M1 MacBook Air is back down to $800 for the second time this shopping season, several Apple Watches are back down to their all-time low prices, and the new iPad Pro is $100 off.
Obviously, there are a lot of deals to keep track of as we slowly reach the end of a marathon-length shopping season, but we’ll keep the best Apple ones rounded up here until the bitter end.
Please note: All newly added deals have been marked with a ✨. Anything with a strikeout was either sold out or no longer available at the sale price as of this writing, but be sure to check back often — we’re updating this page constantly.

(opens in a new tab)
Why we like it
Check out our full review of the M2 MacBook Air.
The 2022 MacBook Air comes at a slightly higher starting price than its 2020 counterpart, but for a few good reasons. One, it underwent a total redesign that gives it a more Pro-like look, while still maintaining the thin look the Air is known for. The keyboard is miles better than the Butterfly monstrosity, and you also get a full-sized function role. We wish its 60Hz refresh rate offered a little more, but the M2 chip gives top-of-the-line performance. And that slightly larger 13.6-inch screen and 1080p webcam make a difference. (If you’re looking for more built-in storage space, the 512GB model is also at its lowest price ever.)

Why we like it
Check out our full review of the 2021 iPad Mini.
Even with the release of iPadOS 16, let’s be real — no one is really using their iPad as a complete laptop replacement. When it comes down to it, most people want a tablet to be portable, to stream shows and videos easily, maybe run some creative work, and not run out of battery quickly. The iPad Mini checks pretty much most of those boxes. For casual use, the battery does well, but the A15 Bionic chip brings the speed (you don’t need an M1 or M2 chip to play games and watch YouTube). The 8.3-inch display is compact without being way too small, the USB-C charging port adds a level of convenience the iPhone would be well suited to follow, and the stereo speakers sound great. All these factors together make it clear why this tablet is a Mashable Choice pick — and a great deal to boot.

(opens in a new tab)
Why we like it
If you want to grab the latest Apple Watch with a 45mm band you’ll be paying at least $379 — and that’s if you catch it at its lowest price ever. Opting instead for last year’s Series 7 still gets a large, bright, always-on, crack-resistant display. In terms of fitness features, you get blood oxygen and ECG sensors, as well as a heart rate monitor. You won’t get the crash detection and temperature sensors of the Series 8, but if those weren’t must-have features for you anyway, saving at least $70 and going for the Series 7 is the move.

Check out our full review of the AirPods Pro.
The biggest con of Apple’s noise-canceling earbuds was their price. But with a new generation out and Black Friday sales beginning, the first-gen AirPods Pro are back down to their lowest price ever at $159. With a case that gives up to 24 hours of battery life and some of the best active noise cancellation in the game, this price is hard to pass up.

If you’re interested in the idea of the ANC of the AirPods Pros but less interested in their price tag, the Beats Studio Buds offer a worthy alternative. The ANC might not quite match up to the Pros standard, but with 8 hours of battery life per charge (that’s longer than the second-gen Pros) and impressive bass for buds, you might just find them worth the trade-off. Plus, you get more color options.

Our pick: MacBook Air (M2, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD)

Our pick: Apple Watch Series 7 (45mm, GPS)
