Can you fix the Dreamlight Valley not loading error after the update?
The Disney Dreamlight Valley not loading error is causing issues for players of the life game, leaving many stuck on the loading screen. Don’t get your hopes up when you see the main menu – it’s after selecting ‘Continue’ or ‘New Game’ that the error occurs. While Gameloft has addressed the issue on Twitter, announcing they will award free compensation to all of the game’s players, there is no official fix at the moment.
The error seems to have occurred as part of the latest hotfix, so as if the Forgetting wasn’t enough already, it seems more forces have been patched in to keep you out of your Valley. Thankfully, as we have come to expect with these sorts of errors, some workarounds have already been found to help you get back to feeding those adorable animals and cooking your favourite recipes. Read on to find out some methods you can try to fix the Dreamlight Valley not loading error.

Disney Dreamlight Valley not loading? Here’s what you can do while waiting on a fix
Disney Dreamlight Valley is still only in Early Access, and looks to be there for a while yet, but still has a growing base of players flocking to the simulation title. Across the valley, players are tasked with forming friendships, cooking recipe after recipe, and more.
The best thing about Dreamlight Valley is that much of this feels relaxing, and without the huge grind that many other simulation titles offer. No wonder players, even non-Disney fans like myself, can’t seem to keep away from the game. That said, one issue is actually keeping players from logging on.
Disney Dreamlight Valley has had a rather persistent ‘not loading’ issue as of late, in which the loading screen becomes stuck and players can’t play the game. There’s some troubleshooting that can be done for this while GameLoft works on a fix, so without further ado, here’s how to try and fix the not loading error in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Dead Space remake devs say the entire game is “one sequential shot” with no loading
Motive Studios have detailed some of the ways that their upcoming remake of classic sci-fi survival horror Dead Space will differ, just as new screenshots of the game have cropped up on an early Xbox Store listing. A blog post from the developers shares how they’re reworking the game’s setting of the USG Ishimura, along with bringing protagonist Isaac Clarke into line with Dead Spaces 2 and 3. They’re also finding time to flesh out the story with extra side quests.
Dead Space Remake Promises No Loading Screens Or Cuts
Since it was first announced, EA Motive has had one ambitious promise for the upcoming Dead Space remake: that it will stay true to the original, while also being fully rebuilt from scratch in a new engine. A new blog on the topic has explained a little more about where the game has been expanded and modernized, and how Motive has tried to stay faithful to the original.
In terms of upgrades, one big difference is that the game will be playable as “one sequential shot,” as described by senior producer Philippe Ducharme. “From the moment you start the game to the moment you end the game, there are no camera cuts or load screens–unless you die. The Ishimura is now fully interconnected, so you can walk from Point A to Point Z, visit the entire ship, and revisit locations… It’s now a completely unbroken experience.”
While many remakes focus on technical upgrades, Motive’s Dead Space will also be making changes to the story, updating and extending the lore of the original game to accomodate for details and characters added later in Dead Space 2, 3, and the comic books. Isaac becoming a voiced character is one of the major changes we can expect, but the developers have also promised more narrative side quests, and bigger roles for certain characters.
