Shazam: Fury Of The Gods Delayed To 2023, Pushes Back Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom
Some of our favorite superheroes are going to be a little bit later than expected–good thing there isn’t a bus teetering on the edge of an overpass. Shazam: Fury of the Gods and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom are both being pushed back as part of a greater shuffling of the Warner Bros. theatrical calendar, Variety reports.
The Shazam sequel was previously set to release this Christmas on December 21, with Aquaman hitting on March 17, 2023. Now, Shazam will debut in Aquaman’s spot on March 17, with Aquaman releasing on December 25, 2023. The date for the other big upcoming DC films, Black Adam and The Flash, have not yet moved from their respective October 22, 2022 and June 23, 2023 release dates.
Also announced as part of the shuffle, an “untitled WB event film” will release on February 10, 2023. Evil Dead Rise releases on April 4, and The Nun 2 on September 8. Salem’s Lot, based on the 1975 Stephen King novel, was set to release on April 21, but will now release on an unannounced date sometime in 2023.

Ex-premiership footballer Dominic Matteo, who played for Liverpool, came to Davina McCall and Nicky Campbell-fronted series last year, desperate to find his biological mother.
It came after a life threatening experience – being diagnosed with a brain tumour.
After beating brain cancer, the ex- footballer was emotionally reunited with his birth mother and determined to build a relationship with her.
When the team found Dominic’s mother Magaret, it was revealed that she saw her son playing football on TV, and didn’t realise it was the baby she gave up for adoption.

Full of regret, Magaret later admitted she had ‘hoped’ she ‘made the right decision’.
After meeting with his mother, and starting to build somewhat of a relationship with her, Dominic decided it was time she met his daughters.
In this heart-warming update episode, Dominic finally introduced his girls to their grandmother for the first time and it was very emotional for all – including fans watching along at home.
Margaret was left in tears as she finally met her two granddaughters in-person.

She added: “It just feels like a dream come true for me.”
Fans were sobbing watching along and took to twitter to air their emotions.
One wrote: “#longlostfamily gets me every time!”

A YouTuber just uncovered lost footage of the American Sailor Moon
The decades-long search for the American version of Sailor Moon has finally come to an end. Ray Mona, a YouTuber who documents her efforts to find lost media (including the never-released Mean Girls game), has managed to unearth the pilot episode of the unaired, never-finished series that the Sailor Moon fandom has come to know as Saban Moon.
The story of the Americanized Sailor Moon starts in 1993, about two years before the debut of the dubbed Sailor Moon that we know today. At the time, animation studio Toon Makers teamed up with Renaissance Atlantic Entertainment, the producers behind the original Power Rangers, in a bid to make an English version of the series. The two companies pitched a project that blends live-action with…
Destiny 2 Season 18: Festival Of The Lost And Every Upcoming Event Announced
With Destiny 2 Season 18 arriving next week, the This Week at Bungie post shared a short list of dates players can look forward to. Bungie didn’t list a roadmap of Season 18-specific content, but these dates are still significant for PvP and PvE players.
First is the returning Destiny 1 raid, which launches on August 26, shortly after Season 18 begins–Bungie is still keeping raid details under wraps until the Destiny 2 Lightfall Showcase on August 23. Bungie will enable the Raid Contest mode for the first 24 hours, and players must be at 1560 Power level for the raid encounters.
Similar to Season of the Haunted, next season will only have two Iron Banner events which will land on September 6 and November 15. Rift won’t return as part of Iron Banner, however. Instead, a completely new mode, Eruption, will come to Destiny 2. A previous TWAB explained, “Eruption is Clash with energy boosts based on kill streaks.” Also in PvP, Trials of Osiris returns on September 16.
Dozens of Facebook contractors lost their jobs after an algorithm reportedly chose them ‘at random’
A firm contracted by Meta recently told dozens of its workers that their work for Facebook “was soon being taken away,” according to a new report from Insider. The cuts affect about 60 employees of Accenture, a firm that oversees teams of Facebook moderators and other contractors.
The reasons for the cuts are unclear as workers were not given an explanation for the changes. According to Insider, workers were informed of the news during a hastily scheduled video call during which nameless Accenture representatives told the contractors they had been selected “at random” via an algorithm.
Facebook declined to comment to Insider and an Accenture rep denied that “layoff actions” had taken place. Affected workers were reportedly told they could reapply and interview for new roles within the firm.
The cuts come as Meta faces unprecedented challenges to its business amid an economic downturn and hits to its advertising business. The company, which recently reported shrinking revenue for the first time in its history after losing billions of dollars on its virtual reality division, has already drastically cut hiring plans and told managers to weed out low performers. The company also cut back some of its famously extravagant employee perks, like onsite laundry service, earlier this year. Meta employees are reportedly concerned that the company could slash its workforce by as much as 10 percent, though the company has so far denied it has plans for mass layoffs.

Lost Ark Striker balance changes coming soon
Lost Ark Striker balance changes are officially in the works for the MMO game, Amazon Games’ community manager confirmed in the Lost Ark forums. They weren’t able to provide a specific timeframe for the next balance patch, but at the very least, it’s confirmation that a consistent issue will get fixed. The news comes after several months of requests for tweaks made specifically to the class’ Lightning Tiger Strike. Players have been experiencing a few troublesome issues with the skill for several months, issues that tend to throw a wrench into skill chains and planning at best. At worst, it puts them in the path of a devastating boss attack or three.
