Upgrade to the Apple Watch Series 8 while it’s at its lowest price to date
SAVE $109: As of Jan. 19, the Apple Watch Series 8 (41mm, GPS + Cellular) is marked down to $390 instead of $499 at Walmart. That’s 22% in savings and a new all-time low price.
Just a wee four months old, the Apple Watch Series 8 has already been through multiple major deal holidays — Prime Day 2, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday — and yet, it’s seeing its biggest discount to date on a random Thursday in January.
As of Jan. 19, you can snag the Apple Watch Series 8 (41mm, GPS + Cellular) for just $390 at Walmart. Usually $499, that nets you an impressive $109 in savings. There’s just one catch: the deal is only valid on the midnight color option. If you want red, starlight, or silver, you’ll have to pay $444 or more, with maximum savings of $55.
The Series 8 isn’t a groundbreaking upgrade from the Series 7, but it does offer some nice additions. In other words, if you’re sporting a Series 7 model, you can probably skip the Series 8. If you’re rocking an older generation, this deal is for you. It comes with a body temperature sensor to help with fertility tracking, which Apple is committed to keeping private, plus crash detection, an S8 chip, and a low-power mode to extend the 18-hour battery life. And like prior models, it has the ECG sensor, blood oxygen monitor, and always-on display you know and love.
A big Apple discount is rare, so it’s unlikely that this deal will stick around long. Our advice? If you’ve had your eye on the Apple Watch Series 8, this is your best shot at saving.
