Alongside revealing Call Of Duty: Warzone 2’s release date and map this evening, Infinity Ward also offered an extended look at the multiplayer for Modern Warfare 2. That included an explanation of new aquatic combat, third-person combat, weapon customisation, and details of the upcoming open beta.
Call Of Duty: Warzone 2 will launch on November 16th. The battle royale sequel was shown for the first time during today’s Call Of Duty Next event, where we also got a glimpse of its new setting, Al Mazrah, and the first info on how it’s messing with formula of leaping from a plane and chasing circles.
Flickr is adding a new virtual photography category to help users find and categorize images they capture in their favorite video games. Previously, the platform only offered three content categories: photos, illustration and art, and screenshots. The company notes the third and final one didn’t quite meet the needs of one of its fastest-growing communities, which is why it’s making the change.
“By putting your work into one of these categories, you can use filters to limit your search results by interest,” Flickr explains in a blog post spotted by PetaPixel. “For instance, virtual photographers will be able to filter by ‘virtual photography’ while conducting site-wide searches if they only want to see that kind of work, while avoiding real-world photography or other art and illustration.”
The addition is an acknowledgment of just how popular virtual photography has become. We’re at the point where most games either ship with a photo mode at launch or the feature is added after release. Many developers have also started to frequently share the best captures from their communities. For instance, Hideo Kojima retweets Death Stranding photo mode images almost every week, as do studios like CD Projekt Red and Guerrilla Games.

Sure, Microsoft Flight Simulator did a great job of simulating life in the cockpit of a myriad of real-world planes at 30,000 feet up. But what about the other half of that equation? AirportSim, an Xbox Series X|S console exclusive due out next year (it’s also coming to PC at the same time), aims to show you what life is like for the ground crew who are so essential to any and all air travel.
The new trailer for AirportSim, which you can watch at the top of this page (with screenshots to click through below), shows off the three main game modes: Free Roam, Scenario, and Challenge. Each showcases life as a vital ground crew member at one of many real-life airports. You’ll drive the baggage cart, refuel the plane in freezing temperatures, and much more.
AirportSim features dynamic real-time and real-world weather, real aircraft like the Boeing 737 MAX and Airbus A320 NEO, online and local co-op, and more.

Free-to-play battle royale brawler Rumbleverse is now available on the Epic Games Store. It comes with two additional modes not seen in the pre-launch playtests: the chance to pair up with a pal in Duos and a sort of free roam practice mode called Playground.
