I’m A Celebrity moved from usual slot to make way for World Cup coverage in ITV schedule shake-up
I’M A Celebrity has been moved from its usual timeslot to make way for World Cup coverage.
The ITV reality show, which is presented by Ant and Dec, comes live from Australia each night.
It usually airs at 9pm for an hour but is extended to a bumper 90-minute show for eliminations.
However, Monday night the show will be on at a slightly later time.
At the end of Sunday’s show Ant and Dec announced the schedule change to fans.
The Geordie duo said I’m A Celebrity would kick off at 9:15pm – directly after coverage of the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
With less than one week to go until the final of this year’s series, the eliminations have begun.

TV presenter and journalist Charlene White was the first celeb to be booted out of the jungle.
Worst House on the Street host Scarlette Douglas was the second famous face to leave.
The TV presenter was visibly shocked by her early exit – and promptly burst into tears.
After meeting hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly on the other side of the bridge, Scarlette admitted: “I’m absolutely gutted.
“I’m not even going to lie about it. I know some people wanted to leave, but I said ‘I’m not ready to go yet’.
“Those people are amazing and the jungle is incredible.”

Watch as woman becomes ‘human bollard’ to stop drivers before being moved on by cops – but who’s in the wrong?
THIS is the moment a woman becomes a “human bollard” to stop drivers before being moved on by cops – but who’s in the wrong?
Footage uploaded onto Twitter shows an activist standing in the middle of a road blocking a motorist from driving forward.
But police moved her on out of the area[/caption]
And they waved on approaching motorists who were waiting to go through[/caption]
The woman, who is on crutches, is then moved on by cops before they wave on an approaching red van.
At one point she appears to take a tumble to the ground but the officers quickly help her upright.
The incident happened on Exchange Street in Norwich.
Car-Free Norwich, who posted the video, said that the activist acted in such away to protect the pedestrian and cycle zone from “law-breaking motorists”.

A tweet read: “Yesterday, Lucy heroically acted as a Human Bollard on Exchange St, to protect the pedestrian & cycle zone from law-breaking motorists, & we’ve received a couple of videos.
“Here we see a conversation with a police officer & good support from members of the public.”
However, it is unclear if the area is actually a pedestrian only zone as claimed by the group.
The account goes on to state that the cops escorted her to the side of the road before “encouraging” cars to “drive through the pedestrian zone”.

And the group believe that the motorist should be receiving a fine from the police for driving in the alleged zone.
Social media users took to the comments to share their thoughts on the matter with viewers divided.
Some questioned whether the road in question was actually a pedestrianised zone.
A Twitter user said: “I’ve watched this video a couple of times and nowhere can I see any sign that states no vehicles. There’s even a one way street sign, implying it’s a road for vehicles to use.”
“Isn’t it a delivery van? Probably have legal access at certain times of the day,” queried another.
But others were in full support of the “human bollard” activist.
One viewer fumed that the lady being removed was “a disgrace”.
While another said: “On the face of it, this is the police enabling law breaking. That’s how car centric we’ve become.”
“Why the hell are the police pushing her out of the way & helping the car drivers go down a pedestrian route??” said another.

One viewer added: “This is quite mad and unbelievable. I think this merits a complaint to Norfolk Police.”

The date of the big HBO Max and Discovery Plus merger moved up
In an earnings call today, Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav announced that the merging of HBO Max and Discovery Plus was going so well that the target date for the launch of the new service would be moving from summer 2023 to spring 2023.
From their user interface to their backend to their content, the two services are extraordinarily different, with HBO Max likely leading Discovery Plus in subscriptions as it had approximately 76.8 million users in April before the acquisition, and the combined services now have 94.9 million subscribers. But Zaslav’s plan has always been to merge the two services, which his team views as targeting very different markets. Early this year, a slide claiming HBO Max skewed male and Discovery Plus…
