The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition jacks up PC system requirements
As previewed by Alice Bee, The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition doesn’t simply bundle up Obsidian’s spacefaring RPG with its DLC expansions. It’s also an unexpected remaster, redoing and fine-tuning everything from companion AI and facial animations to weather effects and dynamic lighting. It’s an enticing prospect for a game that never previously counted visuals as its strong suit, though there will be a catch: the Spacer’s Choice Edition will have significantly higher PC system requirements than the 2019 original.
The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition brings moving foliage and 4K 60fps to space next week
Late last year game voted Most Likely To Make Me Accidentally Say The Name Of A Different Game and neo-old-school space RPG The Outer Worlds was rated for a mysterious Spacer’s Choice Edition. Obsidian are now ready to officially reveal said wash and brush up, which is coming next week on March 7th, and bundles both DLCs for the game with remaster-y improvements to AI, VFX and technical art. To mark the occasion I got to chat with co-directors Leonard Boyarsky and Tim Cain, and producer Eric DeMilt, all of whom who made games that are stastistically likely to number among your favourites – especially if you like RPGs.

Avenue 5’s Season 2 Trailer Promises Complete Anarchy in Outer Space
It’s been so long since Avenue 5‘s first season aired (and a lot has happened in the world since March 2020), but we do remember a) we enjoyed the near-future comedy’s batty characters, most of whom are trapped aboard a disastrous luxury space cruise; and b) the plot ended on a hell of a cliffhanger.
Fall Guys Season 2 Will Take Players To Outer Space
New content for Fall Guys is almost here. Fall Guys season 2 launches on September 15, and with the new season comes new maps, challenges, a fresh season pass, and a new limited-time event. After spending time on their home planet, the beans are now going to space.
The season will kickstart with a new event that’ll have players saving the Fall Guys satellite by repairing it and redesigning it. Players will be able to earn the following rewards for participating in the limited-time event:
- Space Bean Nickname – 200 Points
- 200 Kudo – 300 Points
- Satellite Explorer Nameplate – 500 Points
- Space Icons Pattern – 800 Points
- Satellite Backpack – 1000 Points
In addition to the new event, there will also be a couple of new courses introduced, such as the Tiptoe Finale, which can host up to four squads. In this mode, each team will have to race to the crown, and if they step on the wrong floor tile, they’ll fall to the ground and have to start over. Other maps, such as Starchart, will have players racing through an invisible course; the only way to reveal the way is by pressing a button. In Cosmic Highway, players will have to jump from platform to platform while avoiding traps to complete the course.
Killer Klowns From Outer Space is an awesome Dead by Daylight rival
When you go looking through the touchstone horror franchises of the slasher era, there are several killers that spring to mind: Voorhees, Kruger, Myers, and Leatherface. But what about the Killer Klowns From Outer Space? Unlike the slasher hall-of-famers mentioned above, the Klowns never made it past a single movie, with many attempted sequels mired in development since the 1988 original. Yet somehow, somehow they’re getting an official videogame. And as a horror game, it sounds amazing.
