TWAB previews season 21 Destiny 2 Exotic ornament, starts vote on next
A Destiny 2 Exotic ornament for the beloved Arbalest linear fusion rifle is coming to Bungie’s popular FPS game in Destiny 2 season 21. As part of the Bungie team’s ongoing This Week at Bungie (TWAB) series, the developers showcased the ornament, titled Synthwave, which members of the community selected with 55.5% of the vote in a competition last year. The TWAB also announced a new community vote, which will take place in several parts as Destiny 2 players vote on which Exotic weapon they’d like to see get a new ornament and have the opportunity to vote on several designs for that ornament.

Destiny 2 Previews Primary Weapons Buffs For Mid-Season Update
Bungie has released an in-depth preview of its upcoming mid-season weapons update for Destiny 2, featuring substantial buffs to a number of primary weapons. The Exotic SMG Tarrabah and Legendary Ikelos SMG will see PvP nerfs in this update, with a number of other tweaks and balances on the cards.
The major focus of this weapons balance pass is to shore up the sometimes lacklustre primary weapons class, especially as PvE content gets more challenging. Auto Rifles, Pulse Rifles, Hand Cannons, Sidearms, and Scout Rifles will all be getting buffs in the update. Bungie explained that SMGs and Bows have been used for the “benchmark” for these buffs, with the intention being to bring other weapons up to the same level of effectiveness.
Auto Rifles will see a 25% damage buff against red and orange bar enemies in PvE, Pulse Rifles, Hand Cannons, and Sidearms will get 20%, while Scout Rifles get a 10% buff. The weapons team has said that you should be more likely to one-shot red bar enemies in Heroic and Legendary content. In a comment on Twitter, Bungie clarified that the above buffs also apply to Exotic weapons, and will stack with the 40% damage boost against red bar enemies.

Google previews generative AI features for Workspace users, developers
Computing giant Google announced today that it will release previews of three new AI features, including AI composition for Google Workspace, developer prototyping and coding via PaLM and MakerSuite, and validated models for its Vertex AI service.
The Workspace features, currently, are focused on Docs and Gmail. Users can use Google’s AI to rewrite emails in a particular style or tone, or even generate documents out of whole cloth. Simply asking the system to “generate a sales pitch” or similar will create a simple document that users can then edit to meet their needs. The AI can also help redraft documents to fit a more formal tone, or shorten them for brevity, and so on.
