The best Destiny 2 PvP weapons
What are the best Destiny 2 PvP weapons? After some smart changes from the game’s PvP team, activities like Iron Banner, Crucible, and Trials of Osiris feel much more balanced than they were under the linear fusion rifle meta that took hold over much of 2022.
Recent changes also mean PvP feels more competitive, and the addition of several PvP-focused weapons is part of that. Despite the emphasis on balance, some guns still stand out from the pack. Below, we list the PVP weapons you’ll want to track down to use now, before the Destiny 2 Lightfall release date in February.

Elden Ring PvP duel pits Bloodborne’s Lady Maria against Orphan of Kos
Elden Ring PvP duels are always fun, but especially so when you run into someone taking a like-minded approach to your own. While we may not have Bloodborne on PC still, we do have Elden Ring – a game so good it managed to nab the Steam Game of the Year award along with a crowning spot on the PCGamesN Game of the Year top ten list. The Lands Between, it turns out, offer ample opportunity to emulate other FromSoftware moments, providing a great place to see some of the best Bloodborne bosses clash.

Lost Ark’s Artist Class Is Coming In April 2023, With a 96-Player PvP Mode Coming In March
Lost Ark will receive a new advanced class, 96-player PvP mode, additional raids, and more in the first four months of 2023, Amazon Games has announced.
Of particular interest is the new Artist class set to arrive in April. The Artist will be the first “specialist” class added to the Western version of the free-to-play MMORPG, and Amazon is teasing it won’t be the last to arrive in 2023 in its latest blog post. Wielding a gigantic paintbrush, the Artist fills a support role but is also able to attack enemies directly with her giant paintbrush or by painting and summoning “holy beasts” to do her fighting for her.

However, Amazon makes clear it has worked with developer Smilegate RPG to make some visual changes to the female-only class in preparation for its arrival in the West. Changes to the appearance of the game’s various female-only classes has been an ongoing localization project for Amazon, which is also working with Smilegate RPG to make it so more Lost Ark classes can be played as either male or female.
Dead By Daylight devs unveil post-apocalyptic PvP game Meet Your Maker
During The Game Awards, Behaviour Interactive announced that their new PvP raid game Meet Your Maker will debut next year on April 4th 2023. Elden Ring’s new PvP arenas all have different rules
There’s a unique charm to the player-ran fight clubs in previous From Software games, but joining those means signing up for waiting and faff. The three PvP colosseums that opened up in Elden Ring today let you jump straight into wailing on folks, each offering different rulesets, from 6-player deathmatches with endless respawns to more gentlemanly 1v1 duels.
Chumps who want to fight alongside their summonable Spirit Ashes have to go to their own special colosseum, for nerds.
Each of Elden Ring’s three PvP colosseums actually has different game modes
Elden Ring just received the big PvP update, which opened up three colosseums across the game’s major regions for PvP competition. We knew this was going to happen, but what we didn’t expect was for each of them to serve as more than just an arena.
Shortly after the 1.6GB patch went live, developer FromSoftware published the full change log, clarifying what players can expect from each of the three colosseums.
The most interesting reveal in update 1.08’s patch notes is that each of the three colosseums has its own rules and limitations, which not only makes for a unique experience, it also upgrades them to be more than simple PvP areas.
Elden Ring’s free PvP DLC is here
As promised, FromSoftware rolled out the latest Elden Ring patch moments ago across all platforms. The new update is mainly geared towards PvP players.
The update’s biggest new addition is opening up the colosseums in Limgrave, Leyndell, and Caelid. As everyone assumed, those were indeed designed as PvP arenas, and now players can use them for that purpose.
Opening up the colosseums also brings with it new multiplayer modes for PvP players. You can take on other players in duels, join team fights, or take part in free-for-all chaos.
Elden Ring is opening PvP colosseums in a free update tomorrow
Elden Ring‘s Colosseums are about to get a lot busier. A free update being released tomorrow, Wednesday 7th December, is opening them up and filling them with new PvP modes. Players will be able to fight in “duels, free-for-alls and team fights,” and there’s a trailer below showing a little of them in action.
