Donald Trump Posts Sad Truth Social Rant: ‘They’re All Sick and It’s Fake News’
In yet another late-night video, former President Donald Trump posted on Truth Social claiming that there is a “witch hunt” against him, even as he claims he will be arrested on Tuesday. No arrest has been made, nor has it been confirmed by authorities, and Trump’s lawyer says the former president isn’t afraid of the…
Donald Trump takes to Truth Social for all-caps rant ahead of potential indictment
Before we get too far down the rabbit-hole, here’s the TL;DR: Former President Donald Trump believes he’s soon going to be arrested, and he’s freaking out about it online.
Now, not too long ago, there was a time when former President Donald Trump’s latest Twitter freakout was pretty much the news of the day. Of course, the Big Man of the Republican Party has since ditched Twitter — even after Elon Musk unbanned him and practically begged him to come back — so the latest diatribe was published on Truth Social, Trump’s own site.
Just for clarity’s sake: It’s not totally clear if, or when, Trump will be indicted and, in turn, arrested. The former president has claimed, time and again, that he’s going to be arrested on Tuesday, without providing evidence as to why he believes that. After first making the claim on Saturday, the former president basically called for mass protest in a manner shockingly similar to the Jan. 6 Capitol insurrection.
“IT’S TIME!!!” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “WE JUST CAN’T ALLOW THIS ANYMORE. THEY’RE KILLING OUR NATION AS WE SIT BACK & WATCH. WE MUST SAVE AMERICA!PROTEST, PROTEST, PROTEST!!!”
Since then, it’s basically been one extended rant.
Now, you’d be excused if you lost track of why, exactly, Trump might be arrested. After all, there have been countless investigations, cases, and scandals. The issue at hand is a New York grand jury’s investigation into alleged hush money payments from Trump to cover up sexual encounters. This is the whole Stormy Daniels scandal coming home to roost.
So, believing he’s going to be indicted and arrested, Trump is returning to his usual playbook. You can see the whole thing over at his Truth Social page, but the beats are relatively predictable. The country lived it for, oh, I don’t know, five or six years?
-
He’s attacking his perceived enemies. He’s claiming Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg is being paid by “Radical Left Enemy of ‘TRUMP,’ George Soros.”
-
Trump is both claiming he did nothing wrong and, anyway, even if he did, they can’t do anything about it. “They are MANY years beyond the Statute of Limitations which, in this instance, is TWO YEARS. More importantly, THERE WAS NO CRIME!!!” he wrote on Monday.
-
He’s ditching his previous pal and lawyer Michael Cohen, calling him a “A CONVICTED LIAR, FELON AND JAILBIRD.” Cohen went to prison for paying off Daniels and model Karen McDougal.
-
He’s pleading with NYPD to not arrest him, saying (in all caps, of course), “CAN YOU IMAGINE THE GREAT NEW YORK CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT … HAVING TO DEFEND & PROTECT THE “DEFUNDERS” & “COP HATERS” OF THE RADICAL LEFT THAT WANT TO PUT THEIR GREATEST CHAMPION & FRIEND IN PRISON FOR A CRIME THAT DOESN’T EXIST[?]”
And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. But you catch the drift. The past few days Trump has been treating Truth Social like he treated Twitter for years. He’s throwing attacks and ideas and justifications at the wall like so many strands of spaghetti, hoping one or two stick. Of course, Truth Social is nothing more than an echo chamber of sycophants so his diehard supporters eat it all up. Slightly different than Twitter, when people built their whole online personas around indignantly responding to Trump’s posts.
It’s nearly impossible to summarize all of Trump’s complaining and ranting over the past few days. But it all pretty much touches on those beats listed above. He’s repeatedly attacking Bragg; he’s bringing up Soros; and he’s saying he did nothing wrong. Hilariously, he’s posting screenshots of tweets on his own competing site.
While seeing Trump actually get indicted over this is would be strange — the man has wriggled out of worse — the rest feels very familiar. Trump is trouble and he’s posting relentlessly. Only this time he’s screaming into a void of his own creation.

Love Island Tanyel’s best friend in furious rant slamming Olivia and Shaq as ‘fake’ saying Tanyel was ‘set up’
LOVE Island star Tanyel Revan’s best friend has hit out in a furious rant that she was “set up” to leave the villa.
Her close pal Tun appeared to have headed to social media to react to the news of her departure last night.
Fans reposted a video shared by Tanyel’s pal Tun[/caption]
Tun was furious and hit out at the Islanders as “fake”[/caption]
Love Island star Tanyel, 26, was brutally dumped from the villa earlier this week in a shock twist in the show.
She was left single after bombshell boy Jordan Odofin was left to pick between her and fellow bombshell Ellie Spence.
It meant that Tanyel was dumped from the Island after the brutal recoupling as she was left single on Thursday.
Now, her friend Tun has headed to social media in a furious rant saying she was “set up” by her fellow Islanders.
Her protective over pal pointed the finger at her fellow Islanders Olivia Hawkins and Shaq Muhammad for being “fake”.
Twitter and TikTok users re-posted the social media video, captioning the clip as “Tanyel’s sister”, but it was later revealed as her best friend Tun.
“I’m not going to lie, and I’m going to try to keep it PG, but there ain’t no way I’m watching this show any more,” she could be heard saying in the video.
“I’m done with Love Island because although Tanya was ready to leave, Tanya, Shaq and Olivia… you f**king set her up to go.
“I don’t care what anyone says, they are so f**king fake and jealous and actually quite obsessed.
“Olivia, you need to get Tanyel tattooed on your body mate because it’s actually getting a bit weird.”
She continued to hit out: “I’ve been seeing her ways, that slyness to Tan and finally everyone is starting to see it.
“She is fake as f**k and I can’t wait for the day that she gets caught out. Tanya and Shaq, who gave these men their high horse?
“I am done with it and I can’t wait until they get caught out.”
It comes after Tanyel was dumped from the Island yesterday after the Love Island‘s boys were given all the power.
Ron Hall, who many think she really wanted a relationship with, did not save the London hair stylist.
Kai chose to save Olivia, and the Tanyel was left standing alongside Ellie.
Ellie was saved by Jordan – after Olivia gave him a pep talk earlier in the day – leaving Tanyel saying her goodbyes.
Viewers were left adamant Olivia conspired to send Tanyel home, after her former nemesis Zara also got the chop.
They were convinced Olivia has been getting rid of her competition in the South Africa abode.
One penned on Twitter: “Why is it that whenever Olivia doesn’t like someone the whole villa somehow also doesn’t like them and they end up getting dumped?”
A second raged: “The amount of people that have been sacrificed for Olivia benefit. I’m praying for her downfall!”
A third said: “Olivia must have something on everyone in there cos how is it both the people she had targets on have left?”
Why are all the games dying? The Thursday Nite Rant
^Stay tuned for The Thursday Nite Rant, where is week we’re asking: why are all the games dying?
It seems like the live service bubble has burst, with a huge swathe of online games including shooters, brawlers, and RPGs announcing their cancellation in recent weeks. Some of them representing huge franchises in the space, too: Battlefield Mobile is being sunsetted, along with Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier.
Why is it so hard for live service games to find an audience, even if they’re already attached to a big, beloved property? Well, part of the reason is surely just that the audience has a limited amount of time. Most people don’t have enough free hours in the day to sustain more than one hobby, and so, live service games tend to live or die on how much they can monopolise your life. For a lot of people, Fortnite is their only game. For others, it’s World of Warcraft.
The Callisto Protocol proves that crunch is dumb and doesn’t work – The Thursday Nite Rant
The Callisto Protocol, the spiritual successor to Dead Space directed by veteran studio head Glen Schofield, has left a lot of horror fans wanting. Specifically, it has left them wanting the official Dead Space remake, which will land at the end of the month, because Callisto just didn’t hit the mark: the consensus is that while it’s clearly been put together by a talented team, the frustrating, under-designed combat and the various performance issues make it a slog, and the content within – though perfectly alright – just isn’t good enough to justify wading through the bad stuff.
Which is a shame, not just for users who are desperate for another Dead Space, but for the people who put their blood, sweat, and tears into this game only to see it met with such a lukewarm response. But it’s particularly galling in light of Glen Schofield’s comments early last year regarding crunch, a concept he seems broadly in favour of, although in fairness he walked the comments back after a lot of people rightly took issue with them.
But this goes beyond an ill-advised tweet from a studio head: the issue of workers rights, or lack thereof, has reached a critical stage in the games industry as hundreds of teams around the world pursue unionisation in a bid, among other things, to end crunch culture once and for all. And as the UK entered its umpteenth month of crippling strikes by public sector workers seeking to preserve their precarious living standards, in the face of a hostile government which has a clear agenda against working people, myself, Sherif, and Connor gathered in a Zoom call to ask: in a world where hard work doesn’t even pay off any more, why should anyone crunch?
Tory Lanez’s Father & Family EXPLODE in Bizarre Rant About Jay-Z & Beyonce After GUILTY Verdict
While many have applauded the guilty verdict that was handed down to Tory Lanez in his trial for shooting Megan Thee Stallion, his family – expectedly – weren’t among them.
However, what few could have predicted was the volcanic tirade the singer’s dad Sonstar Peterson and his wife unleashed outside the courthouse. Especially the targeted blasting of music royals JAY-Z and Beyonce.
