Disney has announced its intention to remove certain content from its direct-to-consumer streaming platforms. The announcement was made during Disney’s recent earnings call by the company’s chief financial officer, Christine McCarthy.
According to Variety, McCarthy explained that Disney is “in the process of reviewing the content on our DTC services to align with the strategic changes in our approach to content curation,” and that this review will result in the removal of “certain content from the company’s streaming platforms.” She went on to reveal that Disney expects to incur a writedown in the third quarter of between $1.5 billion and $1.8 billion as a result of this move.

People are just learning an easy way to remove temporary tats – they can’t believe they used to ‘rub their skin raw’
THERE’S an easy way to get temporary tattoos off that doesn’t involve scarring your skin.
It seems that too many people weren’t aware of this fairly quick method.
“This is the craziest hack my daughter just taught me, I had no idea,” a woman (@_malval) began in a TikTok video in which her daughter explained the hack.
Her daughter then took over, giving viewers simple instructions.
“So you use tape on your temporary tattoo, hold it for like five seconds, and then it peels off,” she said as she demonstrated the straight forward trick in the mirror.
“This is so cool!! I had no idea this was a thing!” the mom added in the clip’s caption, equally as surprised as other TikTok users.
Loads of people commented that the nifty hack would have come in handy in the past.
“This could have saved me so much pain in my life. Voting for her for president,” one person wrote.
“Wish my mom knew this when she scrubbed my skin off my face from a Chuck E. Cheese tattoo,” a second added.
“You’re telling me my mom didn’t need to scrub my skin so hard for family pictures?????? Trauma lol.”
“I would rub my skin raw for no reason then? Smart girl!”
“I saw this video and tried it on my 3-year-old. So much easier!”
“I would use baby oil. It worked, but not as well as that tape,” a final person commented.
An additional user had something to say about how traumatic removing the tattoos was.
“I literally don’t wear them to this day because I had scabs on my cheeks from scrubbing off the shamrocks on St Pattys Day 3 years ago,” they wrote with multiple laughing emojis.
How to remove Snapchat’s My AI from your Chat feed
Bad news: If you aren’t a Snapchat+ subscriber, you can’t remove My AI from your Chat feed.
Snapchat announced My AI’s global rollout Wednesday (April 19) and users are already fed up with its placement at the top of their Chat feeds. Initially exclusive to Snapchat+ subscribers, now you have to subscribe (for a $3.99 per month fee) to get rid of My AI.
The feature appears in users’ Chat feeds with a customizable Bitmoji avatar and runs on OpenAI’s GPT technology. My AI responds to your messages like a friend. You can also ask it for recommendations for Lenses to use, or places to visit and send it a Snap and receive a reply in chat. But many Snapchatters want their actual friends at the top of their Chat feeds, instead of My AI.
If you’re a Snapchat+ subscriber, here are the two ways you can unpin it.
