February PlayStation Plus leak claims Horizon, RE7, Borderlands 3 and Scarlet Nexus coming to game catalogue
Horizon Forbidden West, Borderlands 3, Scarlet Nexus and Resident Evil 7 are coming to the PlayStation Plus games catalogue, according to a reputable leaker. These are expected to join the service on February 21.
This information comes from Billbil-kun, who has previously released accurate lists of upcoming PS Plus titles. With that being said, it’s worth taking all unofficial reveals of this nature with a grain of salt.
Each of these games are decent at worst and excellent at best, depending on your tastes. Resident Evil 7 is a modern classic and kicked off a new age of first-person Resident Evil games. It did a lot to push horror games back into the limelight thanks to its mix of classic Resident Evil style and a refreshing new perspective. It’s well worth a play if you somehow missed it.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet to receive new patch… in late February
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, despite achieving new Pokemon sales records, were a mess in terms of quality. There’s no denying that. At the very beginning of December 2022, The Pokemon Company issues its first patch for the game, advising that it was, “working on improvements to the games.”
Now, The Pokemon Company has revealed that another patch is planned for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. This won’t be available right away like the previous patch, however, and fans will be waiting until late February to install it.
Via a post on the official Pokemon website celebrating all 1008 Pokemon, mention of the patch can be found at the very bottom of the article: “Update Ver. 1.2.0, which will include bug fixes and add functionality, is planned to be released in late February. Please look forward to more details soon.”

Poll reveals most popular Pokemon of Scarlet and Violet
First spotted by the lovely folk over at Nintendo Life, a poll ran by GameWith has determined what everyone’s favourite Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Pokemon are. With the addition of Generation 9, we were finally privy to our 1000th Pokemon, and with Scarlet and Violet boasting over 400 of them to catch, it’s quite difficult to determine your favourite.
The top thirty most popular Pokemon in Scarlet and Violet were voted for in Japan between December 16 and 23, with 177,829 fans participating in the poll. The results featured a few expected fan-favourites, such as various Eeveelutions, Lucario, Gardevoir, and Gengar. Koraidon and Miraidon also managed to make their way into the top 20, alongside all-new mouse family Pokemon, Maushold.
Who earns the top spot, however? I know full well who my favourite Generation 9 Pokemon is, and it turns out that I’m far from alone with that sentiment. The Pokemon with the most votes is the bunny-shaped beast that is Tinkaton. A Steel/Fairy-type Pokemon that packs a punch, this baddie swept the Elite Four for me, and I love them.
