Twitter is screaming at you now!!!
As if things weren’t chaotic enough on Elon Musk’s Twitter, it has now added exclamation points all over the place. The “What’s happening?” prompt when you compose a tweet has now become “What is happening?!”
Not satisfied, the reply prompt now reads, “Tweet your reply!” and the quote-tweet reads, “Add a comment!” Previously, neither prompt had an exclamation point.
Right now, the changes only appear in the desktop version of Twitter. The app on your phone should still be even-keeled and exclamation-less. Here’s what the new prompts look like.

The change is odd, but it’s a Musky move through and through. It’s a small change that signals an even bigger shift in tone, i.e. haha we’re all having so much fun here, right?! It adds a bit of chaotic energy, for sure. Not to mention, most folks on Twitter already exclaim quite a bit, no prompting necessary.
It’s not exactly clear when the change took place and whether it will migrate to the app. (We would ask Twitter’s press department, but…) We here at Mashable first noticed the shift this week. Other folks online seemed to be noticing the shift on Wednesday, May 17, as well.
So know that if you noticed the change, it’s not just you.

Trapeze artist falls 30ft to her death after her husband fails to catch her in daring stunt watched by screaming crowd
A TRAPEZE artist fell 30ft to her death after her husband failed to catch her in a daring stunt watched by a screaming crowd.
Footage shared online shows the moment Sun Moumou, 37, fell to the hard stage during a show in Suzhou city, China, on Saturday.
Her husband failed to catch her with his legs as the couple performed a risky change of position in mid-air.
Sun fell from more than 32ft above the ground, according to local news reports.
She is said to have been taken to hospital but doctors were unable to save her life.
Her husband said: “We were always happy together.
“As I am in the middle of the process of dealing with all of this, I can’t disclose any specific details at this time.”
In the shocking clip, spectators can be heard screaming as Sun loses her grip.
A colleague said she was still breathing “weakly” following the tragic fall.
The performance was cancelled immediately as were planned shows over the weekend.
Anhui Yaxi Performing Art Media has been fined more than £5,600 for “holding commercial performances without approval”, according to The Global Times.
Local officials have expressed their “deep condolences” and sympathy to the victim’s family.
The couple, who were both born in 1986, are said to have had a son and a daughter together.
Social media users have called for stricter regulation in the industry.
Authorities have launched an investigation into how Sun performed without the proper safety precautions.
Reports say the performance took place at a local family farm in Hougao, a village in Suzhou, located in the northern part of Anhui Province.
She had worked with her husband, Zhang Moumou for years, according to reports.
They are said to have often performed without safety belts, according to the news website The Paper.
Zhang told local news that she had not “refused” to wear a safety line, as reported.
In September last year, a trapeze artist fell into the circus ring during a new act in front of hundreds of children and their parents.
Tatyana Zolotukhina, 26, was performing with her husband Sergey Zolotukhin, 34, when she failed to catch his hand and plunged 16ft crashing on the ground during a show in Russia.
In July 2018, the America’s Got Talent judges were left gasping in horror as a trapeze act on the show went horribly wrong.
The panel were stunned when partially-sighted performer Tyce dropped his wife Mary and she plunged to the ground.
Channel 4 stars left screaming in horror as extreme TV show takes grim new turn
CHANNEL 4’s Rise and Fall set the bar for shock TV high early in the series when contestants had to eat dog food for cash.
But last night participants were again put through the grinder – leaving many viewers furious.
Rise and Fall’s ‘Grafters’ had to clear a room of cockroaches with kitchen utensils[/caption]
Some viewers complained about ‘cruelty to animals’ during the show[/caption]
The cast of Grafters – who endure lives of misery in the basement – were made to handle hundreds of live cockroaches.
Meanwhile, the Rulers in the Rise and Fall penthouse, who stand to benefit from the money they raised, watched on.
Contestants were left screaming as the insects surged into the room – with their challenge to get a certain number of them back into a see-through box.
Many Channel 4 viewers felt the same way, with one tweeting: “Omg my worst nightmare!”
Others were more worried for the animals, who were scooped up with kitchen utensils, carried, or even thrown, while many others scuttled across the floor while the contestants ran about.
One viewer wrote: “So many roaches being crushed & killed for the sake of entertainment.”
Another said: “Cruelty to animals in the name of entertainment. Shame on you.”
A third said: “why are reality shows still using animals for entertainment I don’t care if it’s a snail or a cockroach it’s still a living being that doesn’t deserve being chucked into a room of people for entertainment.”
Several pointed out the similarities between the challenge and the Bushtucker Trials of the jungle with one branding it “I’m a Celeb indoors”.
Rise and Fall’s ‘grafters’ were also challenged to tackle snails, with locusts and maggots also available to be unleashed.
However, while they found the snails easy to return to their box, they didn’t get enough cockroaches to pass that ‘work shift’, meaning less money in the jackpot.
Last month, the cast of the show, which is fronted by Greg James, were challenged to clear plates of dog food.
Builder Jack and care home worker Connor both struggled to keep the doggy dinners down.
One viewer said: “This pet food challenge may just be the singular grimmest thing I’ve ever seen on TV.”
Rise And Fall returns to Channel 4 tonight at 10pm

Multiple SCREAMING BIGFOOT Encounters Reported by Hunters at Carson Lake, Colorado
Two Colorado hunters set up camp along Carson Lake in Grand Mesa. While setting up, they start to hear high-pitched, continuous screams from across the lake that seems to be getting closer.
I recently received the following account:
“This incident occurred at Carson Lake in the Grand Mesa National Forest of Colorado. The lake sits on the edge of what is called Lands Edge on the Grand Mesa. A friend and I were hunting. We had hiked down the Khanna Creek Trail to look for game. We had spent most of the day on a stand.
We made our way back to my truck but decided to stay the night so we could hunt in the early morning and then go home. We were getting things set up for camp, building a fire, and getting food out to cook. I had a pop-up camper and I had just got it up and situated when my friend said, “What the heck is that sound?’ He had never spent as much time in the woods as I had so he was freaked out instantly. I came out of the camper and asked him what was the problem. That is when I heard it.
It’s hard to explain how it sounded. It was a high-pitched, but deep, scream that lasted for long periods off and on. The sound goes up and down in volume. Whatever it was sounded angry for some reason. At first, I didn’t give it much thought. I had heard mountain lion screams and that will make the hair stand up on the back of your neck. But this sound went on and on, pausing for short moments as if to catch its breath.
My friend was really freaked out now. I said to him it’s just a lion or two lions across the lake. This did not calm him down much. I had my sidearm on me so I pulled it out and shot off a round in the air during the screaming. Then it was silent. I told him I scared it away. I started to go about getting food out so we could eat.
The daylight was fading to the point where you can’t quite see details across the lake. But you can still see movement and other features. About a minute after firing off the round in the air, the screaming started again. This time it was closer, but still across the lake. It seemed more pissed off, as if it was very mad we were here. We could hear the brush shaking and raking but we could not see it, but just hear it. Now I’m getting freaked out because of what just happened. It was coming closer. You would think that a gunshot would scare game away, not bring it in closer.
My friend is really getting freaked out and wants to leave immediately. I tell him we have high-powered rifles and we will be safe. The whole time we’re talking about leaving the screaming is going on.
I eventually gave in to him wanting to leave and started to pack up camp. This took some time for us to do maybe 10 minutes or so. During this time the screaming continued. We got everything loaded up in a hurry, buttoned up the camper, and got in the truck. I started it up and left. It was now dark and the headlights were the only lights beside the stars. The drive up and out of the lake had a few switchbacks. I stopped at one to see if the screaming was still going on. It was not. We drove out of there and down the mountain, not saying a word.
We had stopped to get a bite to eat. We felt unsure of what we had experienced. Both of us decided not to say anything to anyone. I know I didn’t say anything to anyone for a very long time I am unsure if my friend has said anything to anyone. I have watched shows on TV about Bigfoot since then. Some of the shows had recorded sounds of what they said was a Bigfoot. To me, it sounded like what I had heard at the lake.
I have a friend that had a similar experience in this same area at a later time. My friend said it was at night when he saw something tall and large cross the road. Also, during the day, he found some very large tracks. Some other friends said that they heard some screaming that sounded a lot like what I described in the area. They didn’t tell the rest of the hunting party about what they heard until later when the rest of them heard these screams in the middle of the night. It was loud enough to wake them up.
The Grand Mesa, Colorado area has had a lot of strange happenings and vocalizations. A follow-up investigation by a BFRO investigator stated that many reports have been made from the general area.”JJ
