Netflix Is Pulling All Of Arrested Development, Including Seasons It Produced
As of March 15, fans will no longer be able to stream any episodes of Arrested Development on Netflix, despite the streaming service producing the last two seasons of the hit comedy, Variety reports.
Arrested Development originally aired on Fox for three seasons before it was cancelled in 2006. Netflix was behind the series’ revival when it licensed a new season in 2011, which aired on the service in 2013. A fifth and final season aired exclusively on Netflix in 2018 and 2019.
Netflix also acquired non-exclusive streaming rights to Fox’s first three seasons, meaning Netflix has thus far been the only place fans can binge the entire show at once. The first three seasons are also available to stream on Hulu, which is owned by Disney.
HBO Cancels Sci-Fi Comedy Series Avenue 5 After Two Seasons
Back in 2020, HBO premiered its comedy series Avenue 5 from Veep creator Armando Iannucci. Starring Hugh Laurie and Josh Gad, the show about a luxury spaceship knocked off course during a routine cruise event has had a long gap between that debut season and its second outing, the latter of which hit back in October…
NCIS: Los Angeles is coming to an end after 14 seasons
After 14 seasons, one of CBS’ longest-running shows is coming to an end. The current season will be the last for NCIS: Los Angeles, which is a spinoff of the original NCIS. According to Deadline, the cast and crew were informed on Friday about the cancelation.
The network crime procedural stars Chris O’Donnell, LL Cool J, Linda Hunt, Daniela Ruah, Eric Christian Olsen, Medalion Rahimi, Caleb Castille, and Gerald McRaney as agents with Los Angeles’ NCIS division, charged with detaining criminals who pose a threat to the nation’s security. Created by Shane Brennan has been on the air since 2009.
As Deadline notes, it’s not a huge surprise given the show’s expensive budget and networks looking to tighten the purse strings as of late. That said, NCIS: Los Angeles has had consistently strong ratings during its run and is the top show in its time slot, averaging around 6 million viewers. So while it is coming to an end, a show with 14 seasons is anything but a failure.
“This NCIS Crossover was a huge success!! Thank you to all our millions of fans around the world!! Some of our best ratings in years,” wrote co-lead LL Cool J on Instagram. “After 14 seasons, this is the perfect time to end @ncisla on top of our game!!!” LL Cool J and Chris O’Donnell have been the original leads during the show’s run as special agents who often use cutting edge tech to catch baddies threatening national security.
The show’s season finale is set for May 14, which means the timing of the announcement will give the show time for a worthy conclusion. “We look forward to delivering an end to the series that is both satisfying and does justice to these beloved characters,” said Executive Producer and showrunner R. Scott Gemmill in a statement.
So for NCIS: LA fans, you’ll still have time to soak up the heroics of G, Sam, Marty, Nell, Hetty, and the rest of the gang. Per Deadline, CBS’ other long-running primetime shows CSI and Criminal Minds have both been revived, so it may not be the end completely for NCIS: LA

Our pick: Sony 65-inch A95K OLED TV
(opens in a new tab)
Why we love it
Sony debuted a handful of groundbreaking products at CES 2023. TVs weren’t one of them. But the absence of a new line isn’t stopping retailers from following the unspoken January rule of heavily discounting last year’s models. Arguably one of the internet’s favorite TVs right now, the A95K provides a dynamic watching experience through the Bravia QD-OLED panel, which combines the precise viewing angles of OLED and the color-boosting quantum dot layer of QLED.

Demon’s Souls remake devs share a seasons greeting card that appears to be teasing… something
Bluepoint Games, the developer of the Demon’s Souls remake, has seemingly teased a new project, though no one knows what it could be.
Earlier this week, the PlayStation Blog shared a post that contained a whole bunch of season’s greetings cards from a number of companies and developers that Sony has worked with. There’s plenty of cute stuff in there, like this one of the whole God of War family, and this incredibly cosy one from Tunic publisher Finji. But the most interesting one is from Bluepoint Games, as it might be ever-so-slightly teasing its next project.
The drawing is a simple one, four present boxes, three of them opened, with a shield from Demon’s Souls in front of one, Kratos’ axe (Bluepoint assisted on Ragnarok), and Wander’s sword from Shadow of the Colossus. Last of all, there’s a box that still has its bow on it, completely untouched from excited hands. This certainly seems to suggest Bluepoint has something more on the way, but obviously fans want to know what it is.
