Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Might Be Releasing In September
Peter Parker and Miles Morales may be swinging back into action in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 this September. While no release month has been officially announced, Venom voice actor Tony Todd might have just let word slip on the PlayStation 5 exclusive’s launch plans.
On Twitter, Todd showcased that he was inside a “mocap mainframe,” presumably for Spider-Man 2. Then, in a reply to someone expressing their excitement for the sequel, Todd apparently revealed September as the target month for release. “Looks like September! Massive publicity coming in August,” wrote Todd, who’s known for the Candyman film franchise as well.

In December, Sony shared that Spider-Man 2 was planned to launch in the fall of this year. The PS5 game takes place after the events of Spider-Man and Spider-Man: Miles Morales. A couple of months earlier, developer Insomniac Games reinforced that the game was making “good progress” and on track for a 2023 release.

RoboCop: Rogue City takes aim at September release date
RoboCop is a gloriously entertaining action movie and satire which like many ’80s movies has spawned several lesser sequels and several lesser video game adaptations. RoboCop: Rogue City is the latest to try. Last year’s Nacon Connect stream featured an underwhelming “gameplay reveal”; this year’s Nacon Connect features a “gameplay overview”. Step below to judge its whelm.
‘RoboCop: Rogue City’ has been delayed to September
RoboCop: Rogue City will arrive a little later than expected. During today’s Nacon Connect stream, it was revealed that the latest game from Terminator: Resistance developer Teyon will now arrive in September. It was previously scheduled for sometime in June.
The showcase included a gameplay trailer. It shows RoboCop seeking information before raiding a drug dealing operation in the basement of an arcade. There’s plenty gore in this gun fight, including an exploding head, which fits in nicely with the over-the-top violence of the RoboCop movies.

Teyon didn’t reveal too much about the story, but RoboCop: Rogue City will tell an original tale in which the cyborg police officer (once again played by Peter Weller) attempts to clean up the crime-ridden streets of Detroit. It’s coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
The showcase also included another look at The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, which Nacon delayed indefinitely just five weeks before it was supposed to arrive last September. There’s still no firm release date for the game, which was initially slated for 2021, but it should (hopefully) land later this year.

Starfield delayed to September 6, showcase scheduled for June
Starfield’s new release date is September 6th 2023
Starfield‘s release date has been a subject of much debate since its unfortunate delay last year, but now Bethesda have finally committed to a new date: September 6th 2023. The news was announced via a two-minute video, where director Todd Howard also revealed Bethesda will be holding a special Starfield Direct in June, just ahead of E3.
Starfield launch date trailer reveals September 6 release
Starfield will release on September 6 2023, according to a brand new launch date trailer.
In this trailer, not only do we get a cool cinematic teasing some of the space-bound mystery, we also get a quick update from Todd Howard himself, who reveals that a dedicated Starfield Direct will occur on June 11. This will apparently give viewers a “deep dive” on the game, a few months ahead of its launch.
Additional surpises come from the appearance of one Tim Lamb, who was present in the Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Making Of videos back in the day. While this is obviously a marketing video that has been orchestrated with a fine tooth comb, you’ve got to love the Pip Boy statue in the background.
