Marvel Snap will speed up card progression on January 31st
Marvel Snap is excellent, and when you first start playing it chucks new cards at you faster than a confused magician. That slows down once you’ve got a few hours under your utility belt, but developers Second Dinner have some changes in the works that should make rarer cards easier to snag. If you’re saving up for a particular card from the Token Shop, it’s worth checking whether it’s one of 9 cards that are about to get cheaper.
The first “Series Drop” is due to land in an update on January 31st, which will also add a mode that lets you battle your buds.
Destiny 2 sparrow speed won’t get faster anytime soon, dev confirms
A Destiny 2 sparrow speed bug that makes the vehicle faster than all others has deeper underlying development issues that render it impractical to apply to more sparrows, a Bungie community manager has confirmed.
Some time ago, players noted the Always on Time Exotic sparrow was faster than other sparrows in the game, which max out at 160 speed. Always on Time is also listed as 160, but due to the bug, it’s significantly faster than other sparrows in the space game.

Why Hyper Demon’s devs suggest you slow down to speed up
Devil Daggers was fantastic, Hyper Demon is better. The sequel to Sorath’s exquisite wave survival FPS flips a slow-building, protracted struggle into a hyperdense spurt of action that escalates in lockstep with your abilities, thanks to enemies that spawn the moment you’ve dispatched their chums and a score that ticks down with every second you spend not actively murdering.
That structure is also a trap. It’s an invitation to devise an opening dance that dispatches those first few waves as quickly as possible, yet following that dance too rigidly will crash you headfirst into a bonespire. Hyper Demon screams at you to go fast – though when I asked programmer Matt Bush for tips, he suggested I slow down.
Quantum Space picks up speed with $15M in funding for cislunar space vehicles
Cislunar space is quickly becoming ripe for government and civil use. This is particularly true in light of NASA’s Artemis program, which aims to establish a permanent human presence on the moon in the long-term. But a ton of critical infrastructure will need to be in place before that happens: everything from communication systems to […]
