Starbucks now lets you pay with Venmo
Starbucks Rewards members can now pay with Venmo. The payment service’s parent company, PayPal, announced the change today, saying customers can use Venmo accounts to load and auto-reload their Starbucks Card funds.
PayPal says you can add your Venmo account in the Starbucks app or the Starbucks Card section of the company’s website. Additionally, you can pay directly from Venmo after adding your account to the coffee chain’s app.
The companies are running a promotion to entice you to try it. Until February 10th, Starbucks Rewards members will get 100 bonus Stars (perks for spending money there) by adding at least $15 from Venmo to their Starbucks Card. Alternatively, spending $15 or more using Venmo as a direct payment in the Starbucks app will also get you the bonus.
This isn’t the coffee chain’s first new partnership as it deals with recent slowdowns. It announced last month it was working with DoorDash to offer 95 percent of its in-store menu items through the delivery service. Unfortunately, it also pounced on the NFT bandwagon, launching an alternative rewards system using digital collectibles.

10. And finally, the thing about Starbucks food is that it’s real food, but it’s like not real food and it’s not like…good, but it’s also not like…bad.

Now DoorDash will deliver Starbucks across the US, too
DoorDash will soon start delivering Starbucks food and drinks in all 50 US states, the company announced in a blog post. The service will initially roll out to Northern California, Texas, Georgia, and Florida before expanding into the rest of the US in March.
Through the partnership, users can place orders with the DoorDash app instead of the Starbucks app. Starbucks says it’ll make about 95 percent of “its core menu” available through the service and will let customers customize their orders as if they were using Starbucks’ own app.
While DoorDash first started delivering Starbucks products last year, the program was only limited to select cities, including Atlanta, Houston, Sacramento, Seattle, Portland, and New York City.
Meanwhile,…
Starbucks will offer nationwide DoorDash delivery by March
DoorDash and Starbucks plan to expand their delivery partnership to all 50 US states by March this year, the companies announced Tuesday. Following a pilot that began last year in Atlanta, Houston and Sacramento (and later expanded to Seattle, Portland and New York City), people in North California, Texas, Georgia and Florida can now turn to DoorDash when they want a Starbucks coffee delivered to them.
According to Starbucks, it will offer 95 percent of the items found on in-store menus through DoorDash. You can also customize your order just like when you order in person. The app allows you to specify whether you want syrup in your drink, your milk preference and your choice of expresso roast. DoorDash also promises prompt delivery of coffee orders but stops short of a specific guarantee. DashPass customers won’t need to pay additional delivery fees to get their pumpkin spice latte orders to their door. For everyone else, DoorDash’s standard delivery and service fees apply.
Uber Eats has offered nationwide delivery of Starbucks orders since 2019, making the timing of the DoorDash expansion somewhat puzzling. By all accounts, the era of massive growth delivery firms saw during the first two years of the pandemic has come to an end. Between the easing of lockdown restrictions in many jurisdictions and cost of living increases, fewer people are using delivery apps.
I’m a Starbucks barista – I’ve been doing the viral apron trick for years, men ask me to do unspeakable things
SERVERS and baristas have been sharing the apron trick they use to emphasize their bums.
One Starbucks worker revealed that she has been modeling the look for years.

TikTok user @jessibfit showed off her everyday look while working as a barista.
In her clip, Jessi wrote: “Five years of using the ‘It girl’ apron trick.”
The influencer held the famous green apron up to her body, wrapping the bottom half against herself before preparing to put the halter top around her neck.
Then, turning around, she demonstrated her strategy for a snatched silhouette.
Jessi circled the waist tie around her back, bringing it to the front, where she tied it snugly around her midsection.
The finished look gave the barista a cinched waist and perfectly-framed hips.
After viewing her glow-up, one man asked the barista to do something rude to his coffee.
The viewer requested she add an off the menu flavor to his drink order.
The man asked Jessi to add some flat-ulence to his flat white.
The unappetizing order took the barista by surprise, and she simply replied: “Sir.”
Other TikTok users took to the comments section to share their thoughts on the apron tip.
Another user said: “I’m now at a point to where this is the signature move.”
A third person pointed out that the using trick will get her “hella tips.”
