The Meta Quest 2 bundle is still $50 off — snag it now while ‘Beat Saber’ is still free

Save $50: As of Nov. 25, the Meta Quest 2 bundle with Resident Evil 4 and Beat Saber is $50 off for Black Friday. Grab it for $349.99 at Amazon, Best Buy, and more.
Until Meta decides to upstage itself with a Quest 3 (a likely, but unconfirmed successor), not even that annoying $100 price hike in August could throw the Quest 2 off its pedestal as the best VR headset to buy right now.
Following that little stunt, we’re feeling pretty lucky to see a $50 discount on the Meta Quest 2 bundle for Black Friday — from multiple retailers, at that, seemingly keeping us out of “out of stock” territory. Now just $349.99, the 128GB Quest 2 bundle seems (even more) ridiculously affordable compared to the other Quest in the fam, the $1,499 Quest Pro.
If you want to get technical about the value of this bundle, let’s also consider the two freebies: Resident Evil 4 and Beat Saber. The latter, a super sick VR rhythm game where you slash beats to music, has been included with the Quest 2 since Meta jacked the price — but that’s going away. A tweet from Meta in August revealed that the free Beat Saber download offer would only be available through Dec. 31. Buying the bundle now not only saves you $50 on the headset and Resident Evil 4, but the extra $29.99 that Beat Saber will cost in 2023.
Grab the Meta Quest 2 bundle for $349.99 at the retailer you like best:

The Sims 4 bug is still causing unexpected animal tragedies

Usually when another The Sims 4 bug rears its head, it’s cause for delight and humour among players of the life sim game. In some cases, that humour can pave the way to something a little more on the frustrating side, especially if a glitch persists for a while – the recently fixed Sims 4 mean interactions being a notable such issue. Some glitches, however, are just quite sad, such as an ongoing Sims 4 animal aging bug with the Cottage Living expansion pack that is causing players’ virtual animals to die unexpectedly.

In 2022, It’s Still Baffling That Bloodborne Isn’t On PC Yet
Hey, did you know that Bloodborne is still a PlayStation exclusive? Of course you do–the internet will never let you forget. Recently, Sony deleted a Bloodborne-related tweet after a legion of fans dogpiled it in the vain hope that an announcement was in the works. Indeed, it doesn’t take much for the 2015 game to trend on popular social media sites like Twitter. Even a pointed tweet from a noted figure in the Souls community like Lance McDonald can stir up the hornet’s nest.
But while the constant swirl of fan fervor can be annoying at times, it’s ultimately based on a fundamentally sound fact: Bloodborne is one of the few modern classics that’s limited by aging hardware. Regardless of where you stand on the console/PC divide, the fact that the version of Bloodborne that you can play on your shiny new PS5 is still locked to 1080p/30fps borders on publisher malpractice. But I would much rather play it at 144fps on my shiny gaming PC, and I’m far from the only fan who feels that way.
Fellow high-profile PS exclusives like Ghost of Tsushima, God of War, and even the humble Days Gone have received patches that improve their performance on PS5, supporting 4K and higher frame rates. And it’s clear that Sony is committed to porting its exclusives to PC, as God of War and Days Gone are both on Steam. Despite this, Bloodborne remains stuck in the past.
The US government still isn’t sure about Elon Musk’s Twitter

Elon Musk’s $44 billion deal to acquire Twitter hasn’t escaped government scrutiny just yet. According to a report from Bloomberg, the US government is looking into whether Musk’s foreign investment partners have access to users’ private data on the platform.
Sources close to the situation told Bloomberg that the government’s asking for more details about Musk’s private agreements with the international investors who hold stakes in the company, which include Saudi Arabia’s Prince Al Waleed bin Talal Al Saud and the Qatar Investment Authority. Musk’s business dealings in both Ukraine and China have also drawn concern.
Earlier this week, Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, who is also the head of the Committee on Foreign Investment in the US…
