Shocking nobody, this Life Is Strange superfan really liked the first Life Is Strange novel
With the solemnity of Samwise Gamgee informing Mr Frodo that one more step will take him the furthest he’s ever been from home, I recently realised that it’ll soon be the longest we’ve gone without a new Life Is Strange game since the franchise debuted in 2015. I looked into it and sure enough, the current record-holder is the gap between the season one finale of Life Is Strange and the first episode of its prequel Before The Storm: 1 year, 10 months, and 12 days. That means that come mid-August of this year — specifically, the 14th, which marks the 683rd day since True Colors‘ Wavelengths DLC released — LIS fans will be leaving the Shire whether we like it or not.
I suspect that Life Is Strange: Steph’s Story — the first prose novel tie-in to the franchise, released on March 21st — was commissioned with fans like me in mind. Fans who work out useless trivia like the above because they need something to occupy them when there’s no new game on the horizon and they’ve played all the existing ones to death. Fans who know every character’s canonical middle name and birthday. Fans who complain that it feels like they never have time to read any more, but nevertheless finished the novel and wrote a silly supporter post about it within ten days of publication. Of course I really liked Life Is Strange: Steph’s Story. But will you, as a person whose relationship with this franchise is statistically guaranteed to be more normal than mine?
Starfield superfan creates 400+ page document on the game…and it isn’t even out yet
A Starfield superfan has created an online document detailing every known aspect of the upcoming Bethesda RPG, and it’s over 400 pages long. There’s still no word on when the game will actually come out.
The document was created by Gokamo, who was inspired to take on this feat due to his past with Bethesda titles and the sheer amount of content in them. They have spent years building up a central hub with every piece of official information out there.
This includes official Starfield videos, Todd Howard interviews and Q&As, concept art, leaks and official reveals. It’s unbelievablly comprehensive, going into extensive detail as to where each tidbit of information comes from, providing short notes where needed and linking back to original sources.

I’m a skincare superfan – my facial exercise gets rid of saggy skin and gave me a sharp model-like jawline with one item
A SKINCARE Superman shared her facial exercises that get rid of saggy skin and give her a sharp model-like jawline with one item.
Guasha50 has nearly 80,000 followers on TikTok, creating content on skincare products and routines.

In a 50-second video, the poster shares her everyday routines to fight against saggy skin.
“Four jaw massages that I used to go from this to this, even though I gained weight,”
She showed a before and after of her jawline as her current one is more defined than the before photo.
In order to do the exercises, you’ll need one simple product: face oil.
“I’m using one with serum in it from Fresh,” the poster said.
The product is called Rose Deep Hydration Oil-Infused Serum, which retails for $60 on Sephora, however, the poster didn’t specify which oil you had to use.
“I like this one because it makes my rosacea chill out.”
For the first exercise, the poster says to hook your middle and pointer fingers and run the knuckles under and over your jawline while applying pressure.

She demonstrates the exercise in the video.
The next action is defining your jawbones with your thumbs.
In the video, the poster rubs her thumb under her jawbone, slightly pulling on the skin to tighten it.
Next, she advises releasing masseter tension – the masseter is a large muscle that raises under the jaw.
Discomfort in this muscle can lead to tension headaches, earaches, toothaches, and teeth grinding.
The poster makes a fist and, while using her knuckles, massages the muscle in her cheek.
The last exercise is to smooth the skin under the chin and down the neck.
Using her whole hand, the poster gently massages the skin under her chin and along her neckline.
“Do these 5-10 times on each side a few times a week,” she recommends.
The video received hundreds of comments.
“Not me doing this once and going to the mirror to check if it worked,” wrote one person.
“I did this and it honestly made a difference in about a month. People noticed,” wrote another.

I’m a Dollar Tree superfan – my tips will make your apartment look expensive and fancy without hurting your wallet
A DOLLAR Tree superfan has revealed tips that will make your apartment look expensive and fancy without hurting your wallet.

Holiday decor was big part of Maddi’s Haul[/caption]
Dollar Tree products go for $1.25[/caption]
In a recent video, she explained how you can decorate your apartment at “the $1.25 Tree,” an ode to Dollar Tree’s recent inflation price hike.
On the day after Halloween, Maddi “was pleasantly surprised to be greeted” by pie recipe signs.
They have plaques with recipes for apple, pecan, cherry, and pumpkin pies.
Despite the cute Thanksgiving finds, the chain mainly had holiday products, said Maddi.
“Honey I am here for it. I’m a Christmas baby,” she gushed.
The store had a towel that read “North Pole Bed and Breakfast, Coffee served here.”
Also on display were decorative signs, which were mock Christmas Tree Farm and Reindeer ride ads.
They also had mini trees and jingle bell door hangers.

Beautiful gold tree toppers were also on display, which Maddi highly recommended you snag.
She noted that no one would know it is from Dollar Tree.
If you are looking to decorate a miniature tree, Dollar Tree also has you covered.
“They have all the ornaments that you would need,” she said.
“This is perfect if you’re in college or if you’re just living alone.
“Dollar Tree didn’t leave anybody out this season.”
Lastly, Maddi showed off oversized mugs.
“This would be perfect for holiday mug cake recipes and these amounts are perfect for cocoa and spices,” she said.
Fans raved about the finds but shared Maddi’s inflation frustration in the comments.
“Love these ideas. Thanks for sharing them,” one said.

I’m a Target superfan – there’s an unspoken cart etiquette & the worst customers are guilty of doing these 3 things
THERE is a proper way to follow shopping cart traffic and it’s simple, yet most people ignore it and do these three annoying things.
Carrie who goes by @chessybu on TikTok shared her biggest pet peeve when it comes to shopping at stores like Target.

Carrie hates when people pop out of the side aisle without looking at cart traffic[/caption]
“A lot of people just don’t seem to understand how to shop,” she said at the start of the video.
Carrie explained that if she is walking down the main aisle of the store, it’s rude for shoppers who are traveling down the side aisle to cut in front of her.
“They don’t have the right of way I do,” she said.
“They have to look before they come out into the main aisle, instead of coming crushing into the people that are in the main aisle.”

She added: “It’s pretty simple, common sense, but apparently not that common.”
Carrie said this was her biggest per peeve and “why I almost always do curbside [pickup],” in the caption of the video.
This video inspired two other shoppers to share their own shopping pet peeves.
“My biggest pet peeve is people who park their cart on the right side of the aisle while looking at something on the left and block the whole damn aisl,” one person said.

Another user said: “And the direction that the traffic is moving in! I hate when someone comes walking down the opposite way and everyone has to scoot over to let them.”
Many commenters agreed with Carrie. One said: “This is why I hate grocery shopping. No one understands the road rules.”
“I agree! But the whole cart is in front of you and it’s a blind corner, so you have to inch-peek, not just barge out,” another advised.
Someone added another shopping no-no that involves two people.
“Not only that but when someone walking in front of you stops because they see someone they know and they clog the isle and talk for 30 min,” someone added.
A Target employee also commented: “As someone who works at Target….thank you! People are in their own little world and aren’t mindful of others.
I’m a Dollar Tree superfan – I made a dupe of my favorite fall accessory using only three items
A DOLLAR Tree superfan has revealed how she made an amazing luxury pillow dupe using three items from the discount store.
YouTube star Daniela, who is the brains behind DD’s Art Workshop, demonstrated how to create her version of a $27.99 Kirkland pillow with dollar store tote bags.
Daniella made this pillow from a tote from dollar tree[/caption]

The Kirkland pillow was inspired by a scarecrow and the tote bags read, “It’s all about the journey,” with a photo of a bike.
Daniela chose to replicate the scarecrow on the opposing side, creating a reversible pillow.
Her first step was flipping the tote bag over, with the blank side up.
“It was a little bit wrinkly and it was really kind of annoying me a little bit so I decided to iron it just to get all those wrinkles out,” she said.
After she got the wrinkles out, she cut the handles off the bag with her scissor.
The next step was to place cardboard inside the bag.
“The paint is gonna bleed if you do not do this part,” she said.
“You’re also going to be needing this for when you draw your scarecrow on your pillow.”

Then, she drew an outline of the scarecrow on the tote bag.
“It doesn’t have to be exactly like it,” she assured viewers.
“You’re just kind of getting an idea and your ruler really comes in handy because you want to go ahead and make it as centered as possible.
“It’s a very simple face. I didn’t want to change it, you guys, because I love scarecrows.”
As the pillow was supposed to be a dupe Danielle tried to make her scarecrow a “simple design” as close as possible to the picture.
She drew the lines lightly, so as not to mess up the fabric with potential mistakes.
Finally, it was time to paint.
PAINTING TIME
Daniela used Apple Barrel’s Nutmeg brown paint from the dollar store for the top of the pillow which she said was “ the more affordable route.”
“Usually, the paint doesn’t go on as well on some surfaces I’ve noticed but for the particular DIY it is going on perfectly,” she said.
“If you’re trying to stay on a low budget and if you don’t have acrylic paints and you want to do this DIY, you can totally get Craft Smart and Apple Barrel [paints] because they are, like I said, a little cheaper.”
Daniela added painting is not a rush and encourages people to watch a movie or listen to a podcast while they do it.
She noted that if you want a vintage look, one coat should do the trick, but if not, she would recommend you apply two coats of paint.
VINTAGE LOOK
For the nose of the scarecrow, she used the Apple Barrel multi-purpose white paint, The Craft Smart burnt orange, and the Folk Fire multi-purpose plaid yellow paint, inspired by the candy corn.
“I don’t know if you guys like candy corn,” she said. “I actually love it so I love how the little nose is like candy corn which is super cute.”
Using Craft Wise chalkboard paint from Dollar Tree, she painted on the eyes and mouth.
“It’s some of the best black paint,” she said, explaining the dollar chain is often out so she always sticks up.
Before applying a second coat, she blow-dried the pillow to ensure it was completely dry so as not to smudge the existing paint.
After she was done, she took a paintbrush and wrote “Happy Harvest” on the top brown part of the scarecrow.
“I didn’t use a pencil because I was noticing that I couldn’t really see it on the brown,” she added.
“Chalk is probably going to be a little thick but maybe a white marker or something [would work] if you want to do it that way,” she said.
“I think it looks adorable,” she said.
Finally, she took fiber filling, which fills the interior of pillows, and costs as little as $2.99, and filled the tote bag with it.
“I did break apart my fiberfill into smaller pieces so it wouldn’t be as large,” she said. “If you just put all of it in there, it can be a little lumpy so I just tore it apart and slowly stuffed it.”
Daniella said she is not a sewer, so she simply hot glued the bag shut, creating the final version of the pillow.
“I really love how it’s looking, ” she said. “You can’t even tell this is not sewn together and I am loving it.”
