I’m pregnant and did a haul from Kim Kardashian’s Skims – I was surprised by my favorite item
A WOMAN who is expecting has shared a Skims haul, and there are some winning items.
Katie Lawson, 30 weeks pregnant, ordered a size 2X in everything.
She was surprised by her favorite item[/caption]
Lawson shared her reactions to Kim Kardashian’s Skims clothing line in a clothing haul and was left positively shocked by one particular item.
“[I did] a big Skims haul from their biannual sale, so I figured I would try it on for you guys. Skims is very hit or miss for me. I’m currently almost thirty weeks pregnant,” she began in her video.
First, she tried on a nightgown that she thought she’d love.
“First up I got this – I guess it’s more of a nightgown – and I thought this would be great for postpartum.”

She continued: “So it’s in the camel color, just like a long sleeve nightgown – as you could tell I love a nightgown sitch, so let’s try this on.”
At first, Lawson seemed to love the nightgown. She said: “I sized up to a 2x and I’m glad I did because I’m 5 ft 8 in and it’s short and I have a big bump obviously.
“And she is short and super comfy and really good for post partum at the house and I really like the camel color.”
Later Lawson shared different feelings. “The nightgown is very comfortable but it runs small. Like it’s short.”
Next, Lawson tried on an outfit that everyone had raved about.
“So next, I bought a quintessential Skims outfit that everyone first fell in love with, and I’m kinda nervous because this is the top, but I think it’s really super comfy – we shall see.”
She explained her reservations about the beloved pieces, the Cozy Knit Tank ($52) and the Cozy Knit Pant ($88).
“I feel very vulnerable in this one, I do not feel like it’s very flattering, maybe after the baby it will be. It’s comfy but, I don’t know,” she said upon trying the top on.
Despite this, she held up hope for the pants.
“And then here are the pants, they are massive. Literally feels like a blanket so I’m not even mad – let’s try this on.”
However, the pants disappointed as well.
“The pants are super long, I even have on my Uggs that have the platform on them. I don’t know, maybe it’s the color and I need a spray tan. Super comfy but I might not keep this tank top.”
Next she opened the product she had been the most excited for, The Cotton Rib Boxer ($32).
“I also got two sets of these boxers. These are probably what I’m most excited about because I’d wear it with an oversized T-Shirt.”
She continued: “So I got the oxide color, the chocolate brown, and the dark heather gray. I sized up in these but I love things that are oversized. I’d rather it too big than tight on me.”
Upon putting the pieces on, she was happy with the results.
“Okay these are a winner, they are super comfortable. These are the Heather gray boxers. And I think obviously, postpartum – super comfy – love these so much. This is the chocolate pair.”
She shared her overall review of the Skims haul:
“Overall my favorite are probably the boxers and the blanket pants, they are really comfy as well. I don’t like the tank top.”

I tried a shaving hack using a $1.87 Walmart product – I was surprised by the result and it only took 5 minutes
A TIKTOKER tried a shaving hack using a Walmart product and was surprised by the result.
Alyssa Marie Gray, who goes by @alyssamariegray on the app, tried out the ” Magic” shaving powder, which she said she got at Walmart for $1.87, and her legs wound up being “so smooth.”
The powder was marketed on the Walmart website for $ 2.77[/caption]
Gray waited for 5-7 minutes before removing the powder[/caption]
Gray began the video by using a teaspoon to dole out the powder into a clear bowl.
After she began stirring the power with water, Gray said she learned in the process that the less water you use, “the better.”
“It ended up really watery the first time, and I wound up wasting a lot of powder,” she said.
However, Gray was encouraged about the mixture, as she heard that it was better than other generic hair removal products.

She was also informed you do not get any razor bumps with the mixture, and as it is just a powder, there is no way to get cut while shaving.
Gray warned viewers that she had let her hair grow out “quite a bit.”
She then lathered multiple layers of the mixture on her legs and waited for 5-7 minutes (until the mixture was dry) to take it off.
Afterward, her legs were “super smooth.”

As a lot of “dead skin came off” she then exfoliated with a coffee-scented scrub.
In the caption to her video, Gray noted the powder works “everywhere.”
The powder, which is formally called the “SoftSheen-Carson Magic Fragrant Shaving Powder, Razorless Shaving for Coarse Textured Beards,” currently retails for $2.77 at Walmart.
The store website describes it as a”razorless shaving powder ….formulated for black men to help stop razor bumps.”
They say it “provides a clean, razorless shave that lasts up to 4 days.”
They advise mixing it with water, just as Gray did.
Another TikToker showed a shaving hack, without lifting the tip.
The U.S. Sun has also reported on luxury makeup dupes Walmart offers.
Finally, a TikToker found heavily discounted Walmart products for just 3cents.
