It felt like rape when my sex tape was stolen – I’ve still never seen it but it gives me nightmares says Pamela Anderson
FOR Pamela Anderson, the pain of the world seeing her 1995 sex tape will never go away.
And 28 years on, the Baywatch superstar has opened up about the recent Disney+ miniseries, which focused on the intimate footage of her with then-husband, rocker Tommy Lee.
My sex tape still gives me nightmares, says Pamela Anderson in her emotional new documentary[/caption]
Pamela says she won’t watch the Disney+ series featuring Lily James and Sebastian Stan[/caption]
She said of the show: “It really gives me nightmares. I have no desire to watch it. I’m not going to watch it.
“I never watched the tape, so I am not going to watch this.
“Nobody really knows what we were going through. They should have had to have my permission.”
Brit Lily James, who played Pamela in Pam & Tommy, was nominated for Best Actress at the Critics’ Choice Awards, while Sebastian Stan’s portrayal of her Mötley Crüe drummer husband drew critical acclaim.
After landing the leading role, Lily sent Pamela a letter and asked to meet up — but the note went unread.
Now, in a new Netflix documentary, Pamela reveals that she spoke only to her inner circle about the Disney+ series, as well as Tommy, with whom she shares two sons, Brandon 26 and Dylan, 25.
The actress says in Pamela, A Love Story: “I texted Tommy and said, ‘How do you feel about everything?’
“And he goes, ‘Pamela, just don’t let it hurt you as much as it did the first time’.
“To this day I do not know who stole the tape.
“There is no use figuring out anything about it. The damage is done. Why would I want to go through that again?
“I blocked that out of my life. I had to. It was a survival mechanism and now it is all coming up again.
‘It was like a rape’
“My stomach feels like it has just been punched. I don’t feel good.
“It feels like when the tape was stolen. You are just a thing that is owned by the world.”
The sex tape, which showed Pamela and Tommy naked on their honeymoon and romping in their LA mansion, was stolen from a safe in the garage of the couple’s Californian home.
Their home was being renovated at the time of the theft and the couple did not realise for a year that the video had gone missing.
They filed a police report and hired a private investigator to track it down.
Penthouse magazine had got hold of a copy but promised not to release it.
In March 1996, Pamela and Tommy launched a legal bid against the softcore porn publication to try to bring those distributing copies of the stolen tape to justice.
Rumours circulated that the couple leaked the footage themselves to cash in — but Pamela says: “I would have never monetised the stolen tape. You could give me hundreds of millions — a billion dollars. I’d never take it. Ever.”
Unlike Kim Kardashian, who saw the 2007 release of her X-rated sex tape launch her reality TV career and help turn her family into billionaires, Pamela says: “We never made a dime off it.
“You can’t put a number on the amount of pain and suffering it caused.”
In fact the tape left her career in tatters — and her heavily hyped film Barb Wire bombed at the box office.
She recalls: “It made me feel like I am such a horrible person, that I am just a piece of meat. That this should mean nothing to me as I am ‘such a whore’, basically.

Pamela hit the big time in 1992 playing lifeguard Casey Jean Parker in Baywatch[/caption]
“They were like, ‘Oh she was in Playboy, she likes to be in Playboy’.
“But Playboy was empowering for me. It was my choice. In this case it was like a rape.
“We were newly married, we were naked all the time and filming each other.
“It was us being goofballs. Like honking the horn with his penis. What they [the people in possession of the stolen tape] did is they found all the nudity they could and spliced it together. It was super-humiliating. You become a caricature.
“It was different for me as it was for Tommy. Tommy is a rock star and it kind of adds to the image.
“But I knew at that point my career was over. I was thinking I could have a more serious career.”
Pamela even compares the pain of the tape’s release to a sexual assault she suffered as a child.
She adds: “Not to bring up something really heavy from my childhood but when I was attacked by this guy, I thought everybody would know.
“When the tape was stolen, it felt like that.”
Referring to a courtroom appearance during her legal fight to block the tape, she recalls: “The deposition was so brutal. I remember looking at them thinking, ‘Why do they hate me so much?’ ”
Pamela and Tommy’s sons, Brandon and Dylan, have both criticised Disney and the production team.
Appearing in the two-hour Netflix documentary, Brandon says: “We hear about a TV show coming out about my parents and about the stolen tape. Why bring up something from 20 years ago that you know f***ed someone up?”
Dylan adds: “It was the worst part of her life and [Disney+] making a semi-comedy out of it didn’t really make sense.”
Pamela, who now lives at a secluded property on Vancouver Island off the Canadian coast, revealed she used to dream of making it in Hollywood. In 1989 she landed the cover of Playboy magazine and was flown to the Playboy Mansion by its boss Hugh Hefner.
She hit the big time in 1992 playing lifeguard Casey Jean Parker in Baywatch.
In 2017 she made a cameo as CJ in the big-screen adaptation of the series alongside Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron.
‘I am not a victim’
Images of her in the famous red Baywatch swimsuit have gone down in TV history.
But Pamela claims her opportunities were dashed by the sex tape.
Her film career struggled to take off with bit parts in films including Borat and Scary Movie. Pamela also had a string of failed relationships, including five marriages, in the wake of the tape.
She and Tommy divorced in 1998. Pamela found love again with singer Kid Rock, marrying in 2006 but divorcing in 2007.
That same year she married American poker player Rick Salomon, who appeared in Paris Hilton’s One Night In Paris 2004 sex tape. Pamela and Rick divorced in 2008.
Over a 12-day period in January 2020 Pamela — determined to try to find The One — married and divorced movie mogul Jon Peters, who at 75 was 22 years older than her.
She later denied the marriage was legal. Her last marriage was with labourer Dan Hayhurst, who she met while he was working on her waterside property.
They tied the knot on Christmas Eve 2020 after just a few months of dating and split up early last year.
Reflecting on her doomed romances, Pamela says: “I always felt guilty as I wanted to show my kids a traditional relationship and a man who is constant.
“I think what it all comes down to is that I never got over not being able to make it work with the father of my kids.
“And even though I thought I could recreate a family or fall in love with someone else, that is just not me. So I think that is probably why I keep failing in all my relationships. My parents were wild and crazy and madly in love and made stupid decisions and hurt each other. But they stuck it out and stayed together and I can see they are happy now.
“I think I would rather be alone than not be with the father of my kids.
“It is impossible to be with anybody else but I don’t think I could be with Tommy either.”
Pamela insists she is not a victim and no longer holds bad feelings towards whoever stole the tape[/caption]
Keen to put the past behind her, Pamela insists she is not a victim and no longer holds bad feelings towards whoever stole the tape.
She says: “There were a lot of times when I said ‘I don’t care what people think’ as that was the only choice I had.
“If I cared what people think then I wouldn’t be here right now.
“But I care enough. I want to embrace the past.
“Embrace the truth. My life is not a ‘woe is me’ story. I am not a victim. I put myself in crazy situations — and survived them. As much pain as we can endure is kind of the catalyst to the great stuff.
“I am beyond grateful for the experiences in my life and I don’t blame anybody for anything. I am glad it happened.”
Pamela, who became an unlikely campaigner for the release of Wikileaks founder Julian Assange, is now an avid campaigner for animal rights charity Peta and most recently wrapped a Broadway stint as showgirl Roxy in Chicago.
As for the future, Pamela is still trying to work out which direction her career will take. She says: “I am sure I am not finished but I have no idea what I am going to do next. My kids are grown.
“I am basically alone but I kind of like this moment right now where I have no clue.
“At this part of my life I should be settled down somewhere but I don’t know. Maybe I will know next week.”

I have big boobs & never found a chest tape I liked – but my Amazon find gives me the best cleavage
THIS woman with big boobs could never find chest tape that she liked until she found one from Amazon that has given her the best cleavage.
It could prove difficult to find the magic product that will keep your breasts looking amazing in any outfit when you have a larger chest.
Deana found a chest tape that gives her breasts amazing support[/caption]
The tape gives her a nice lift and amazing cleavage[/caption]
Luckily, a Texas-based woman with big boobs has revealed the game-changing Amazon buy that gives her bust some extra support.
In a video, Deana explained how she gets the magic-working boob tape to give her the ultimate lift.
She demonstrated how she uses it, stretching the tape from the bottom of her breast all the way to the top of her chest.
After applying the tape there was a stark difference in both of her breasts.
The boob tape gave her a nice lift and amazing cleavage.
Deanna said that whenever she uses the tape she cuts the excess off to ensure it can’t be seen when she’s wearing a deep plunge shirt.
The tape comes in the shades ‘Chocolate’ and ‘Vanilla.’
In the Amazon reviews, people sang the tapes praises.
One woman wrote: “I’m happy with the lift that this tape gives.
“I’m a 38DDD and I wasn’t expecting any miracles, but this gives a nice natural lift without the dreaded strapless bra.
“I do wish the roll was longer, as one application takes a lot for bigger busted girls, but still cheaper than Brassy Bra! (Still need to try it for a whole day in the heat/ sweat).”
Another super satisfied woman said: “I was a complete non-believer!!! BUT THIS TAPE!!!!! I’m still in shock!!! I’m a 40DDD. I needed a solution for my wedding dress and now I have it!!!”
A third reviewer commented on the tape’s ability to withstand the heat.
They said: “I used this for a wedding in Florida in the middle of June OUTSIDE. It held up through all of the sweat and movement.
“I have DDs that need alll of the assistance in looking cute in a dress. This tape did it all. I am a buyer for life. 10/10.”
And a final person detailed their experience using the tape, also commenting on its performance in the heat.
They said: “I used this tape for the first time while in Tulum Mexico, and when I tell you it was hot! Despite that, this tape did not budge.
“This is also the first time I used a tape this size, and it was so much easier to apply. I really could have went with one layer but I was afraid it wouldn’t stay (I was wrong).
“Also I’m a 38G and the tape made me feel and look so much smaller!”
However, they said: “I would love for the rolls to be bigger and for there to be more shades to compliment a variety of skin tones.”
People are just discovering the built-in trick for finding the end of a packing tape roll
BEFORE you can start on a craft project, wrap a large gift, or seal up a box for shipping, you have to do the hard part: finding the end of your packing tape.
One woman revealed that there’s an easier way out of the sticky situation, and it doesn’t require any additional tools.
There’s an easy way to find the end of a roll of packing tape, a woman revealed[/caption]
When Kirsten Morley shared her discovery on TikTok, she might not have expected her video to go viral.
But 786k views later, Morley can rest assured she’s not the only person who recently learned the easy trick.
Holding a fresh roll of packing tape, Morley spoke directly to the camera, with one finger against the red dispenser.
“I was today years old when I discovered you can use the back of this to find the tape,” Morley said.
Pressing down on the curved part of the plastic shell, Morley spun the roll of tape on the spindle.
When the “tongue” of the plastic dispenser reached the end of the tape, it caught against it – and the tape popped right up.
Morley lifted the edge of the tape with ease, peeling it back and exposing a long, tear-free strand.
Viewers were floored by the revelation. Several people admitted they’d never guessed that was the purpose of the plastic apparatus.
“Ohhhhhhhhhhhh that’s what that is for?” commented one baffled person.
Another lamented the time they’d spent without the hack. “I’ve wasted YEARS!” they cried.
“I can’t believe that! I send boxes out all the time and never knew that,” wrote someone else, surprised they hadn’t discovered the hack on their own.
“Knowing this years ago would have saved me so much frustration,” a different viewer agreed.
Several people thanked Morley for sharing her hard-won knowledge.
“You literally just changed my entire life,” a woman wrote. “I will never get the hours back I’ve spent trying to find the tape, but now the future is bright!”
Others couldn’t figure out how they’d gone so long without knowing the secret. Some blamed their teachers.
“Why isn’t there a class in high school for all these important life hacks?” a viewer asked.
A different commenter jokingly wrote “Cancel the Pythagorean Theorem!” in response.
There was also a subset of stubborn commenters who pretended to have ignored the easy solution on purpose.
“I knew…I just like doing it the hard way,” one insisted.
To assuage their embarrassment, Morley herself responded, with lots of good-natured laughing emojis. “I would say the same thing!” she agreed.
Car with rear window covered in tape pulled over by cops before driver makes bizarre claim
BAFFLED cops pulled over a battered car on the motorway partly held together with tape, but the driver claimed he was on his way to SELL it.
The black BMW, which had no licence plate and was uninsured, was being driven along a highway in Ontario, Canada, when it was spotted by police.

Ontario Provincial Police’s Highway Safety Division tweeted out two pictures of the wrecked car on its official Twitter account after pulling over the vehicle.
Its back window was covered in black tape, and it had numerous dents and damage in other areas.
Cops said the driver, a 27-year-old man from Brampton on the outskirts of Toronto, told them he was on his way to sell the car.
But while investigating, officers went on to charge him with having no insurance, driving while suspended, and six other Traffic Act offences.

The force tweeted: “‘But officer I am selling my car’. Male driver 27 from Brampton. Stopped by the #MississaugaOPP ALPR (camera vehicle). On #HWY401 near Guelph Line. Charged No Insurance, Drive Suspend, Unsafe vehicle and 6 other HTA offences.”
A number of Twitter users were baffled by the entire interaction.
“My question is who is buying that car lol,” one user wrote.
“Scrapyard,” another answered.

But another user added: “Scrapyard might shut their doors on this guy.”
“Who’s gonna buy a scrapper,” another asked.
“He had ‘pull me over’ written on his forehead!” a third said. “Of course we see lots of cars taped up in various ways out there, but never seen black tape on the rear window, lol. They never cease to amaze.”
“Honestly curious as to what the interior looks like,” one user said.
“Does buddy know that there are points in time where owning a BMW is NOT prestigious?” another joked.
It comes just weeks after cops pulled over a motorist using a gaming console as a steering wheel.
The yellow vehicle had been pulled over for a vehicle inspection in a suburb of Brisbane, Australia, when officers made the bizarre find.
As they approached the vehicle they discovered that the driver was using a gaming device – presumed to be from a racing game – instead of a standard steering wheel.

They also ruled that the driver’s wheel alignment was off-centre and that he was sporting illegal air horns.
According to 9News, the driver was given multiple infringement notices for driving a dangerous and defective vehicle.
Is Putting Tape Over Your Webcam Actually a Good Idea?
When you walk around an office or café, you’ll often see people using an array of items to cover up their webcam. Sometimes it’s tape, post-it notes, folded business cards, stickers, their thumb, or a marlin. I smear peanut butter over my webcam, but chunky peanut butter. It’s more secure than smooth.
