You have the eyes of a hawk if you can spot the deadly snake in the trees
YOU have the eyes of a hawk if you can spot the deadly snake hidden in the trees.
The sneaky serpent blends in with the shrubs and trees as it makes its way to find some prey.

Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers uploaded this head-scratching optical illusion and asked Facebook followers to spot the cunning critter.
“Spot the Snake Sunday is Back! Everyones favourite and sometimes frustrating game is back and ready for you to have a go. I think this one is pretty easy…” the Aussie snake watchers posted.
“You’re kidding right?” one user quipped.
“Can’t find it so it must be a invisible snake,” joked a second.

But look a little closer and you’ll find the deadly animal nestled in a tree branch in the top left corner of the picture.
Meanwhile, readers were told they had loser-focused eyesight if they could spot a slippery serpent camouflaged on a forest floor.
The cunning copperhead had social media users scratching their heads after they were left baffled by the brainteaser.
The image shows a seemingly innocent build-up of fallen beige leaves on the woodland floor.

But the ordinary-looking image has proved a stark warning for nature lovers to watch every step they take when exploring.
The deadly snake proved it was a master of disguise by completely concealing itself among the undergrowth.
The pic had some people worried about their vision as they were unable to locate it after a number of minutes.
The majority of social media users admitted they had to look in the comment section to discover where the snake was lurking.
One Reddit user joked: “Well either nothing is there or I’m dead from stepping on it.”
Another wrote: “I’ve seen this image posted before, knew exactly what to look for and vaguely where I needed to look for it…. still took over a minute of searching before I found it.”
And a third chimed in: “I had to scan the whole damn picture as if looking at a prep under a microscope. Only then.”
But other eagle-eyed users claimed to have conquered the brain teaser.
One commented: “Center of photo, just below middle. Copperhead snake.
“Who is so scared that he both blends seamlessly into the forest floor and has deadly defense mechanisms.”
A second user said: “Directly in the middle, you should see a triangle pattern that slightly stands out.
“It’s small but noticeable once you know the pattern and slightly lighter color.”
Copperheads unsurprisingly get their quirky name from their bronze-hued heads and can grow up to four feet in length.
The species can administer an extremely painful bite but it is almost never fatal to humans.
They give no warning signs and strike almost immediately if they feel threatened.

They have hemotoxic venom, which means that a copperhead bite results in temporary tissue damage in the immediate area of the bite.
Copperhead snakes are the most common type of snake throughout the United States.

Cared for over the summer by a Cambridgeshire tree nursery, they will be sent across the country to be planted under the Queen’s Green Canopy initiative (QGC).
QGC chairman Sir Nicholas Bacon said: “We are proud to unveil this nationwide network of organisations chosen to become custodians of these special trees in Her Majesty‘s name.”
“In recognition of the positive impact that they have on their communities, the groups chosen represent the very best of Britain.
“The trees will serve as an inspiration for tree planting within communities and to encourage care for the trees which already exist as part of our nation’s stunning landscape.”

The scheme coincides with the planting season and will run from October to March, with the first tree being presented on Monday at the Royal Chelsea Hospital.

Total Warhammer 3’s forests come alive with this trees mod
The wood elves shouldn’t get to have all the fun, and so there’s a lovely looking Total War: Warhammer 3 mod that spruces up the forests on the strategy game’s campaign map. Not only do you get denser, lusher forests, the mod also makes it so that some of the more destructive factions will leave burned and dead trees behind when they come smashing through an area.

‘Walking Trees’ Recorded in Baltimore County, Maryland Suburb (VIDEO)
On July 28, 2009, Youtuber LisaSurayify uploaded a video, “Real-life Tree Walking”, that shows trees seemingly walking on their own. Filmed in Joppa, Maryland on July 28, 2009 (the same day as the upload), the footage shows a group of trees situated behind a townhouse complex.
It’s a clear day. Suddenly, one of the trees seems to start moving on its own, eventually walking away from the rest of the trees. It then returns to its original position whereupon it topples over. More trees follow. LisaSurayify, the uploader wrote: “Wild sh-t here. The trees are walking. Real-life Video!! Joppa Maryland video from 07/28/09.”
Some of the commenters were incredulous, and at least a couple pointed out that there appears to be a man standing at the base of the first tree, just prior to it up and walking away. They then suggest that some type of tree-cutting machinery was being used to move the tree, though at no point is any machinery visible in the footage.
So interesting was the footage that popular Youtuber, Slapped Ham, featured it in his “Weird and Unsettling Videos That Shouldn’t Exist” collection, uploaded on December 25, 2021. In his summary, he wrote: “This is an old video from 2009, uploaded to YouTube by LisaSurayify. In July of that year, a resident in Joppa, Maryland, spotted something truly odd happening in their neighborhood. Luckily, they had a camera handy to record the bizarre event. Take a look. As you can see, it looks like several trees are uprooting themselves and walking around. One by one, they moved behind the house in the distance, but somehow they remain upright. This goes on for more than six minutes. A commenter said that they were Ents from “The Lord of the Rings” (upright walking trees). Others suggested it was Bigfoot ripping up trees and carrying them around. Sadly, the camera holder doesn’t get closer for a better look, so it’s not clear what is actually moving the trees. There are giant logging machines called harvesters that can lop and lift an entire tree, so it’s possible there are just some loggers working behind the house that we can’t see. I do however much prefer the thought of giant walking trees handing out quests to passing adventurers.”
So what do you think? Were trees walking on their own in Joppa or was there a more down-to-earth explanation?
NOTE: I lived in the area during the time that this incident supposedly occurred. I never heard anything about this phenomenon. These trees look like they may be Black Locust, which has a deep root system. As far as machinery simply uprooting the trees or even a Bigfoot doing the same, just seems illogical. In fact, the entire video seems illogical. Your thoughts? Lon

WoW Dragonflight Monk talent trees to be adjusted following backlash
WoW Dragonflight is set to completely overhaul the existing talent system in Blizzard’s long-tenured MMORPG. Rather than the pick-from-three system that’s been in place since Mists of Pandaria, the new system replicates the more complex talent trees of old, but with a fresh lick of paint.
