‘Spirited’ trailer stars Ryan Reynolds and Will Ferrell in a new twist on ‘A Christmas Carol’
Co-writer/director Sean Anders’ Spirited presents a timeless holiday favorite, A Christmas Carol — but this time with an unforgettable twist.
Starring Ryan Reynolds, Will Ferrell, and Octavia Spencer, the trailer promises lots of laughs, exhilarating musical numbers, and much-needed comfort.
The musical comedy follows the Ghost of Christmas Present (Ferrell) as he picks his “Scrooge” for the year’s soul-stirring Christmas Eve visit.
The fresh spin on the original Charles Dickens tale is that this particular Scrooge, Clint Briggs (Reynolds), is like none before. With a bit of Deadpool bravado, he turns the tables on Present, revisiting the holiday spirit’s past, present, and future. Sounds like the kind of reminiscing that could mean fresh fun.
Spirited premiers in theaters Nov. 11 and globally on Apple TV+ on Nov. 18.

‘Dead Space’ remake trailer shows a twist on familiar gameplay
Motive and EA have finally shared a gameplay trailer for their long-expectedDead Space remake. To an extent, the clip shows what you’d expect. It’s a familiar retelling of Isaac Clarke’s horror-filled mission to the mining ship USG Ishimura, but with much-improved visuals and sounds that make better use of modern hardware. You’re still severing the limbs of Necromorphs and floating through zero-gravity segments, just with eerie volumetric lighting and more realistic, context-sensitive sounds.
It’s not quite a rehash, thankfully. Isaac is no longer silent like he was in the 2008 original, and there’s a better feel for a story that involves the battle for sanity and discovering the fate of Isaac’s girlfriend Nicole. To some extent, the remake is an opportunity to refine Dead Space rather than simply profiting from a well-known name.
The revived Dead Space will be released January 27th, 2023 for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. While it isn’t a brand new game like fans might want, this preview suggests Motive is at least delivering what you’d expect from a remake: a modernization of graphics and gameplay that’s still true to the experience that drew people in the first time around.
Arsenal news LIVE: Dusan Vlahovic transfer BATTLE, Mudryk TWIST, Saliba hints at new contract – latest
ARSENAL are locked in a battle with Chelsea for Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic, according to reports.
The Gunners interest has been reignited in the 6ft 3in Serbian striker as they look to add to their attack, but the Blues could swoop.
Chelsea have already recruited ex-Arsenal frontman Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang but the 22-year-old could be a long-term option for what has frequently been a problem position at Stamford Bridge.
And the Gunners have been further boosted by William Saliba’s hinting at a new contract with the club.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Cross Duel, A Four-Player Twist On The Trading Card Game, Releases September 6
Konami has announced that Yu-Gi-Oh! Cross Duel, the free-to-play four-player mobile version of the classic card game, will be released on September 6. Yu-Gi-Oh! Cross Duel, which is being released on Apple App Store and Google Play Store, introduces a brand-new way to play Yu-Gi-Oh!.
This new four-person version of Yu-Gi-Oh! does not play the same way as the typical one-on-one mode, instead changing into a fast-paced real-time game. Each player has three monster and spell/trap field zones. Each monster zone is linked to an opponent’s monster zone via a line. When a player places a monster in their zone, it begins moving down the line, towards their opponent. If it hits an opponent’s monster, the monster with the higher ATK wins, although unlike the original game, the winning monster loses a chunk of its ATK based on the monster it defeated.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Cross Duel features a four-player versus mode, four-player co-op, and a one-on-one mode as well. The game also features monster customization options as well as 3D summoning animations for some cards during matches. Konami is offering rewards to people who pre-register for Yu-Gi-Oh! Cross Duel, which you can do on the game’s official website.
