Destiny 2 Season 18: Festival Of The Lost And Every Upcoming Event Announced
With Destiny 2 Season 18 arriving next week, the This Week at Bungie post shared a short list of dates players can look forward to. Bungie didn’t list a roadmap of Season 18-specific content, but these dates are still significant for PvP and PvE players.
First is the returning Destiny 1 raid, which launches on August 26, shortly after Season 18 begins–Bungie is still keeping raid details under wraps until the Destiny 2 Lightfall Showcase on August 23. Bungie will enable the Raid Contest mode for the first 24 hours, and players must be at 1560 Power level for the raid encounters.
Similar to Season of the Haunted, next season will only have two Iron Banner events which will land on September 6 and November 15. Rift won’t return as part of Iron Banner, however. Instead, a completely new mode, Eruption, will come to Destiny 2. A previous TWAB explained, “Eruption is Clash with energy boosts based on kill streaks.” Also in PvP, Trials of Osiris returns on September 16.
Inkbound is an upcoming turn-based roguelike from the Monster Train devs
Developers Shiny Shoe are best known for their roguelike deckbuilder Monster Train, which Matt Cox slapped a Bestest Best badge onto in his review. And I got an early look at their upcoming game Inkbound, a co-op roguelike that ditches the usual realtime room-clearing for turn-based battling. From what I’ve seen, it looks like it has potential.
Explore And Command An Army Of Wyverns In Upcoming Strategy Game Call Of Dragons
Farlight Games, the publisher behind Dislyte, has announced a new medieval fantasy RTS mobile game: Call of Dragons. In Call of Dragons, players will lead an army of wyverns and dragons across what Farlight refers to as a “massive, infinitely zoomable battlefield.”
Along with real-time strategy mechanics, players will also be able to set up and fortify villages, raise an army, take over neighboring kingdoms, or work with other players to build alliances. The game rewards exploration along with combat prowess.
As players build their army, they will also get the chance to explore the Call of Dragon’s “infinitely zoomable” world, unlock mini-games, and take on various side quests. They can also scour the land for lost song fragments that reveal the history of this world, referred to as Tamaris.
Multiversus new characters speculation: upcoming fighters
Want to know all about the new Multiversus characters? With a pretty sizeable roster already, the popular fighting game is picking up plenty of steam now that it’s in open beta. It also helps that Multiversus is a platform fighter similar to Super Smash Bros, and it’s completely free-to-play across PC and consoles.
New Multiversus characters are coming to the game every season, and each of these fighters takes their rightful place somewhere on the Multiversus tier list. It’s a tricky balancing job as, eventually, you can train them in as many Multiversus perks as you want, but new fighters can bring wildly different strategies.
