Nihilego is coming back to Pokemon Go Gyms near you for a rotation in five-star raid battles. This Ultra Beast is the headliner of Pokemon Go’s new “Astral Eclipse” event. We don’t know much about this new event other than the headlining raid bosses.
Nihilego will appear as the only five-star raid boss in Pokemon Go starting at 10 AM local time on November 23, 2022 and will remain available to battle until the same time on December 1. Raids do not generally follow a set schedule, and Nihilego raids will appear randomly at Gyms around the world during this time period, but you will receive a notification from the game when a raid is about to begin nearby. Like the recent Guzzlord raids, Nihilego raids will be signified by an Ultra Wormhole appearing on top of a Gym instead of a typical raid egg.
Your best chance to find Nihilego raids is during the Raid Hours in which the Parasite Pokemon will be featured. Every Wednesday from 6 PM to 7 PM local time, the majority of Gyms host five-star raids for Trainers to work together to take down. Nihilego will be the featured raid boss in the raid hours on November 23 and 30, 2022. As with all raids, you’ll need your free daily Raid Pass or a Premium Battle Pass to join a raid in person, or a Remote Raid Pass to join a raid remotely.
Xerneas makes its return to Pokemon Go Gyms near you for a limited-time appearance in five-star raid battles. This legendary Pokemon is appearing after its counterpart, the embodiment of destruction Yveltal, leaves raids during Pokemon Go’s Evolving Stars event.
Xerneas is appearing as the only five-star raid boss in Pokemon Go from 10 AM local time on October 8, 2022 and will remain available to battle in raids until the same time on October 20. Raids do not generally follow a set schedule, and Xerneas raids will appear randomly at Gyms around the world during this time period, but you will receive a notification from the game when a raid is about to begin nearby.
Your best chance to find Xerneas raids is during the two Raid Hours in which the Life Pokemon will be featured. Every Wednesday from 6 PM to 7 PM local time, the majority of Gyms host five-star raids for Trainers to work together to take down. The two Raid Hours that will occur while Yveltal is available to challenge will be on October 12 and 19. As with all raids, you’ll need your free daily Raid Pass or a Premium Battle Pass to join a raid in person, or a Remote Raid Pass to join a raid remotely.
Keep an eye out on a Pokemon Go Gym near you for the limited-time reappearance of Deoxys in five-star raid battles. This Mythical Pokemon returns in all its forms as Pokémon Go’s new season, the Season of Light, kicks off and the annual Psychic Spectacular event comes back. Deoxys is appearing in all of its formes–Normal, Attack, Defense, and Speed–at once, so there’s plenty of time to find the one or ones you need.
Deoxys will appear as the sole five-star raid boss starting 10 AM local time on September 1 and will remain in five-star raids until the same time on September 13. Although it doesn’t have to share the spotlight with another Legendary or Mythical Pokemon, all four formes of Deoxys will be appearing. Raids do not generally follow a set schedule, and there’s no way to tell in advance which Deoxys forme a five-star raid egg will hatch into, but you will be notified by the game if there’s a raid starting nearby.
Zacian will soon be coming back to a Pokemon Go Gym near you for a limited-time appearance in five-star raid battles. This Legendary Pokemon returns after a long absence alongside Pokemon Go’s Pokemon World Championship event. We haven’t seen Zacian in raids inabout a year since it was initially released, so new players and those who might be coming back from a break are likely ready to battle the Warrior Pokemon and add it to their collections. Veterans will also have the opportunity to earn more Candy and Candy XL to power up the ones they may already have.
Zacian will appear as a five-star raid boss starting 10 AM local time on August 18, and will remain in five-star raids until the same time on August 31, but it will be sharing that spot with its “sibling” Zamazenta. Raids do not generally follow a set schedule, and Zacian raids will appear randomly at Gyms around the world during this time period, but you will receive a notification from the game when a raid is about to begin nearby.
Your best chance to find a Zacian raid (or a lot of them) is during the Raid Hours in which the Zacian will be exclusively featured. Every Wednesday from 6 PM to 7 PM local time, the majority of Gyms host five-star raids for Trainers to work together to take down. There are two raid hours occurring during Zacian’s stay in raids, but only the first one on August 24 will feature Zacian. As always, you’ll need your free daily Raid Pass or a Premium Battle Pass to join a raid in person, or a Remote Raid Pass to join a raid remotely.
