Wyoming Ranchers SHOOT HUGE BIGFOOT While Moving Cattle
A group of ranchers was moving cattle in the Bighorn National Forest when they notice a huge Bigfoot watching them from the woods. One of the ranchers shot at it and apparently hit it.
The following was recently forwarded to me:
“I and 2 other guys were moving cattle from the eastern side of Bighorn National Forest, Wyoming. We got up early one morning and started working just as dawn was breaking. At one point, 3 of us saw this tall, thick creature standing along the forest edge watching us. One guy took 3 shots at it about 50 yards away with a 30/30,. It screamed and we heard others crashing in the bush.
We got our things together quickly as I wanted to lead our horses away from the wood line to give ourselves an edge in case we got charged. We would have more time to act and our feet would be on the ground in case of an attack moving south along the edge of the forest. We could occasionally hear something moving along with us. We turned east heading for the town and found a group of hunters camped out. So I decided to make camp with them. I felt like I had to tell the guide what was up. I didn’t want to bring any problems to their camp but I felt like I didn’t have much of a choice.
That night we sat and listened to something a ways off just whaling for hours. Thankfully the guide had no problem helping us and most of all he was glad we told him nothing happened that night.
The guy who shot at the thing quit as soon as we got back and we never heard from him again. I will say I feel if we hadn’t found a hunting party we would have had a fight on our hands. That was in 1979 and I’ll never forget the sounds these things make.” MM

Wyoming Crypto Bank Denied for Federal Reserve System Membership
Many in crypto have been looking to Cheyenne-based Custodia Bank’s more than 2-year-old application as a bellwether for crypto banking. Approval would have meant access to Federal Reserve services including its electronic payments system.
The rejection adds to doubts about crypto banking’s viability, particularly in Wyoming, a state that has sought to become a hub of crypto banking, exchanges and mining….
Custodia sued the Federal Reserve Board and Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City in Wyoming federal court last year, accusing them of taking an unreasonably long time on its application. In a statement Friday, the company said it was “surprised and disappointed” by the rejection and pledged to continue to litigate the issue.
In a statement, America’s Federal Reserve Board argued argued that Custodia’s “novel business model” and focus on crypto-assets “presented significant safety and soundness risks.”
“The Board has previously made clear that such crypto activities are highly likely to be inconsistent with safe and sound banking practices.
“The Board also found that Custodia’s risk management framework was insufficient to address concerns regarding the heightened risks associated with its proposed crypto activities, including its ability to mitigate money laundering and terrorism financing risks.”

Symbolic Wyoming Proposal Urges Voluntary Phase-out of EV Purchases by 2035
In the proposed resolution, a group of lawmakers led by Senator Jim Anderson says Wyoming’s “proud and valued” oil and gas industry has created “countless” jobs and contributed revenue to the state’s coffers. They add that a lack of charging infrastructure within Wyoming would make the widespread use of EVs “impracticable” and that the state would need to build “massive amounts of new power generation” to “sustain the misadventure of electric vehicles.” SJ4 calls for residents and businesses to limit the sale and purchase of EVs voluntarily, with the goal of phasing them out entirely by 2035.
If passed, the resolution would be entirely symbolic. In fact, it’s more about sending a message to EV advocates than banning the vehicles altogether. To that point, the final section of SJ4 calls for Wyoming’s Secretary of State to send President Biden and California Governor Gavin Newsom copies of the resolution. “One might even say tongue-in-cheek, but obviously it’s a very serious issue that deserves some public discussion,” Senator Boner, one of the bill’s co-sponsors, told the Cowboy State Daily. “I’m interested in making sure that the solutions that some folks want to the so-called climate crisis are actually practical in real life. I just don’t appreciate when other states try to force technology that isn’t ready.”

Wyoming wants to phase out sales of new EVs by 2035
While jurisdictions like California and New York move toward banning the sale of new gasoline-powered cars, one US state wants to go in the opposite direction. Wyoming’s legislature is considering a resolution that calls for a phaseout of new electric vehicle sales by 2035. Introduced on Friday, Senate Joint Resolution 4 has support from members of the state’s House of Representatives and Senate.
In the proposed resolution, a group of lawmakers led by Senator Jim Anderson says Wyoming’s “proud and valued” oil and gas industry has created “countless” jobs and contributed revenue to the state’s coffers. They add that a lack of charging infrastructure within Wyoming would make the widespread use of EVs “impracticable” and that the state would need to build “massive amounts of new power generation” to “sustain the misadventure of electric vehicles.”

I just don’t appreciate when other states try to force technology that isn’t ready,”
While the resolution has the markings of a political stunt, it does allude to genuine economic anxiety. Wyoming produced 85.43 million barrels of oil in 2021, making it the country’s eighth-largest crude oil producer that year. The state’s Carbon County is also home to one of the largest wind farms in the US. Something that’s not talked about enough when it comes to climate change is how the world transitions to a zero-emissions economy in an equitable way. People in many rural US states are rightfully mistrustful of so-called green technologies because they haven’t benefited from more recent technological shifts as much as their urban counterparts. Take the advent of the internet, for instance. In 2018, Microsoft found that many rural communities don’t have access to broadband internet. That’s something that has contributed to diminishing economic opportunities in those places.
Campsite MARAUDING BIGFOOT Shocks Wyoming Elk Hunter
The witness was hunting elk in the Bighorn Mountains of Wyoming. On the first night, he was awakened by something rustling in the back of his pickup truck. What he saw next shocked him.
I recently received the following account from the witness:
“My encounter happened on March 15, 2019, in the Bighorn Mountain range in Wyoming. It happened in a place people here call Lost Cabin Range. I was on a hunting trip with my friend John. We were both 27 at the time and he got a bull elk tag from the draw that year.
We drove around all day looking for the elk and only saw one cow that had to of fell out of the herd when they moved through. It was starting to get dark so we started to set up camp for the night. As I was hammering the tent steaks me and my buddy heard what sounded like a woman screaming, and I mean it sounded like someone was being killed out in those woods.
Of course when we heard that we dropped everything we were doing and started looking around to see if we could find this woman. We were just about to give up looking when my buddy tapped me on the shoulder and handed me the binoculars. He pointed at the top of the ridge line closest to us. I grabbed the binoculars and looked at the ridge and I about sh*t myself. It looked like a man walking up the side one foot in front of the other. But this man had hair. I just thought it was a bear and didn’t think much of it because it was moving away from our campsite. We finished setting up and went to bed.
At about one in the morning, I woke up to some rustling out by my truck. Oh yeah, by the way, my cooler was in the back of the truck and we planned to stay out there for about a week. But as I was saying I heard something rustling around near my truck. I just thought that it was my buddy out getting ready for the day until I looked at his cot and he was still passed out. I woke him up and we decided to just stay in the tent until whatever was outside went away. We listened as this creature threw our cooler out of the back of the truck.
After about ten minutes of listening to this, I finally got fed up with what was going on so I grabbed my hunting rifle. At this point, both of us were active duty military, and I left the tent from the back so I didn’t just run right out the front and scare this animal. I got out and made my way to the corner of the tent. I flew around the corner using my training and turned on the mounted flashlight. The second I turned the light on I saw this thing shoot up away from the cooler.
I won’t lie, I have been deployed before and I have had bullets flying all around me, but this scared me to the point where I almost dropped my rifle. I got a great look at the face during the couple-minute altercation. It had the face of a man and the feet of a man but the body kind of looked like an oversized gorilla. It had no neck, kind of a conical head. It looked like the Bigfoot from the Patterson film. The standoff lasted about five minutes and this thing dropped on all fours and ran so fast, I have never seen something move that fast.” KD

Wyoming Deer Hunters Later Realize BIGFOOT Was Near Them
Two hunters are hunting deer near Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. After killing and dressing a deer, a series of events occur that indicates that a Bigfoot had been near them.
“My story began about 14 years ago while I was out deer hunting in the South Fork of the Shoshone River just outside Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. Just before the sun went down my buddy flushed a huge buck entirely by accident. As we were walking back to the truck he shot it and saw it run off. He knew he’d gotten a good solid hit on it so we went over to where he shot it and found obvious signs of blood everywhere. So we stayed there a few minutes and smoked a couple cigarettes to hopefully let the deer stop and lay down and bleed out. After securing permission from the landowner we’re able to cross onto his property. We found his deer. We field field-dressed the deer, drug it out, and loaded it in the truck.
Just before we were getting ready to leave I realized that I left my gloves on the ground back where we had dressed the deer. So I told my buddy to hang on for a minute. I run back and grab the gloves. As I stood up, literally had every hair on my body stand up, like a static electricity kind of feeling. I slowly turned and scanned everything around me to see if maybe I was just picking up the feeling that there was a bear.
I quickly started moving back towards the truck. I got near the truck and I started relaxing, but I was still feeling really uneasy and the thought in my head was to leave and get out of there. My buddy looked at me and asked what was wrong because I guess it was written all over my face. I told him that I had a weird feeling. I thought maybe we maybe there might be a bear in the vicinity because we had seen lots of signs that day. He looked at me strangely and then said what did the landlord have to say? I looked at him puzzled because I had no idea what he was talking about. We talked to the landowner after shooting the deer to secure permission to cross into his wood lot but that was at his house out close to the highway. So I asked him what are you talking about, He said that he saw who he thought was the landowner coming from where his house walking through the woods to where I was retrieving my gloves. He saw him kind of disappear back farther into the woods where I should have been. I was completely confused at that point because I hadn’t seen anybody. I didn’t hear anybody and there were enough leaves and such on the ground that it would be difficult for someone to walk quietly without me hearing them. I just kind of shook it off at that point thinking I let my imagination get the best of me.
We proceeded to leave. We had to stop back at the landowner’s house to give him the portion of the state tag so he could get reimbursed. My buddy went up to the door to leave his tag and the owner greeted him at the door. I got out of the truck at that point, walked up there and they were already in conversation. I realized it wasn’t the landowner that my friend saw going through the woods. So we got a short discussion with the landowner and I told him what had happened. He looked at me and chuckled a bit and said, “Oh, I see you met my friend.” I asked him who that was and he said, “No No. Not a friend, but a friend that he sees in the woods every once in a while.” At that point, my buddy and I realized what he was talking about.
Later that night I was at my buddy’s house before heading back home. We were talking about this encounter and his wife was the first one to bring it up and say out loud the word “Bigfoot.” For some reason when she actually said it out loud I just felt this overwhelming terror.
I went home and a few days later I wanted to go hunting again in the same area when I got down there this overwhelming feeling like I did the previous time was telling me don’t go by myself. I did listen to that sixth sense and got right back with my truck and went home. I’ll be honest with you I haven’t set foot in the woods since that day.”

Incredible ‘Bigfoot Abduction’ Recalled by Wyoming Man
A Wyoming man recalls his amazing Bigfoot abduction experience when he was a boy while camping near the Big Sandy River. He later remembers the incident in detail after talking with his older brother.
“Let me preface this by saying that I didn’t remember this incident until I was in my early 30s. It came back to me over about a week in bits and pieces. I think it was triggered by my brother who came to live with us. After a few days of little snippets and memories popping into my head, out of nowhere I finally talked to him about it. He told me it was all too real although he didn’t know what happened to me until then. He put two and two together and shared his side of the story which made me realize that I wasn’t crazy or imagining things.
I grew up on a ranch near the Wind River Mountains in Wyoming. We heated a house with wood so every year after the crops were in before we had to start irrigating, we would spend about two weeks in the mountains getting wood. We always went to the same place that we called ‘bear trap’ on the Big Sandy River. It was fairly remote because it was long and difficult to drive into the place. The only other people I ever saw there besides family were sheepherders on horseback. I should also add that I love the outdoors and we spend most of our weekends either in the desert or in the mountains. I love them both. But for the desert, because I am much more comfortable there I don’t sleep well if at all. In the mountains, I’m always on edge. For as long as I can remember I’ve not been able to go creek fishing without someone else nearby, preferably in sight. Now I know why.
I think I was about five years old. My brother was 12. We’d been camping for about a week and mom and dad went down the mountain or something and left my brother and me up there. It sounds crazy nowadays. I remember standing there watching them drive off next to my brother who had a .22 rifle propped on his shoulder. After they left I went to play at my favorite spot by the creek which is out of sight from camp. which was probably 200 yards away. I don’t know what my brother was doing. This is what I remember.
I do recall being carried by something with long thin fur under its arm, kind of like a football. There were at least three other beings alongside us traveling upright and on all fours intermittently and screaming yelling at the one who had me. It was like they were telling it to put me down and it was wrong to take me. They seem to be in a panic. I don’t remember smelling anything. It almost feels like I was watching it happen to someone else. I don’t recall any emotions like I was a passive observer. It doesn’t make sense because I know I had been terrified. I didn’t like the loud chaotic noises though I don’t know how far we went.
But finally, we came to a place that was an overhang or a cave. The dirt in front of it had been swept clean. The ones running along beside us had reddish brown fur and long arms and seemed like they were teenager age and a little younger. They continued to squawk and yell in protest until a much larger one came into view. Then they all went silent and out of sight for some reason. I had the impression she was the matriarch of the bunch. She grunted something at the one holding me and I was put down on the ground and it left too. I didn’t feel like she was mean or meant to hurt me just very sad. I wonder if maybe she had lost her own child and snatched me out of grief. The older female looked at me kindly and had a soothing presence. Her fur was darker almost black and thinner and wirier. I don’t remember if she made any sounds or not but feel like she continually communicated to me that I was safe and I shouldn’t worry.
She took me by the hand and led me to a bed-like thing made out of pine needles, grass, and soft bark which was right at the inside edge of the cave or overhang. She indicated that I should sit there and was very gentle with me. She disappeared for a short time and came back with some water with plants in it and had me drink it and then gently laid me on the mat. The next thing I remember was waking up, first smelling a damp mossy dirt smell and then feeling the grass tickling my nose. I was very confused as to why I‘d take a nap right there. I was about 20 feet away from where I’d been playing.
I walked into the camp and my brother grabbed me and hugged me and then yelled at me for hiding from him. In retrospect he was frantic. After I told my brother my side of the story he told me that he had been looking for me for hours and that he had checked the area where I’d been playing several times. He also told me that grandpa and dad were aware that a family of these beings lived around there but they had never bothered us. He and my dad used to leave them salt and sugar on a log every year and they took it every time. I was unable to talk to my dad and my grandpa about it after I remembered because they had both died. When I was young I never told my mom about it either. I did hear my grandpa telling my dad about hearing something come up the creek while he was fishing once and it was no bear. But they stopped talking about it when they realized I was listening.” Name withheld

The World’s Largest Carbon Removal Project Yet Is Headed For Wyoming
CarbonCapture’s equipment is modular, which is what the company says makes the technology easy to scale up. The plant itself will be made of modules that look like stacks of shipping containers with vents that air passes through. At first, the modules used for Project Bison will be made at CarbonCapture’s headquarters in Los Angeles. In the first phase of the project, expected to be completed next year, around 25 modules will be deployed in Wyoming. Those modules will collectively have the capacity to remove about 12,000 tons of CO2 a year from the air. The plan is to deploy more modules in Wyoming over time and potentially manufacture the modules there one day, too.
Inside each of the 40-foot modules are about 16 “reactors” with “sorbent cartridges” that essentially act as filters that attract CO2. The filters capture about 75 percent of the CO2 from the air that passes over them. Within about 30 to 40 minutes, the filters have absorbed all the CO2 they can. Once the filters are fully saturated, the reactor goes offline so that the filters can be heated up to separate out the CO2. There are many reactors within one module, each running at its own pace so that they’re constantly collecting CO2. Together, they generate concentrated streams of CO2 that can then be compressed and sent straight to underground wells for storage. DAC is still very expensive — it can cost upwards of $600 to capture a ton of carbon dioxide. That figure is expected to come down with time as the technology advances. But for now, it takes a lot of energy to run DAC plants, which contributes to the big price tag. The filters need to reach around 85 degrees Celsius (185 degrees Fahrenheit) for a few minutes, and getting to those kinds of high temperature for DAC plants can get pretty energy-intensive. Eventually, […] Bison plans to get enough power from new wind and solar installations. When the project is running at its full capacity in 2030, it’s expected to use the equivalent of about 2GW of solar energy per year. For comparison, about 3 million photovoltaic panels together generate a gigawatt of solar energy, according to the Department of Energy. But initially, the energy used by Project Bison might have to come from natural gas, according to Corless. So Bison would first need to capture enough CO2 to cancel out the amount of emissions it generates by burning through that gas before it can go on to reduce the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere. “The geology in Wyoming allows Project Bison to store the captured CO2 on-site near the modules,” adds The Verge. “Project Bison plans to permanently store the CO2 it captures underground. Specifically, project leaders are looking at stowing it 12,000 feet underground in ‘saline aquifers’ — areas of rock that are saturated with salt water.”
