Yes, I will play Magic: The Gathering crossed with Clue
Yes, Daggerfall Unity’s creator is planning his own classic TES-style game, but don’t expect to play it soon
After kicking off 2024 by releasing the long-anticipated fan-made remaster of the second mainline entry in the Elder Scrolls series, Daggerfall Unity’s creator is now planning to make his own game in the style of the classic RPG, but don’t expect it to arrive any time soon, if it all.
If you missed it, developer Gavin Clayton and co were finally able to put out the colossal mod, which had been in development for nine years and gives Daggerfall a much more modern and accessible makeover, during the festive period. Now, the modder has plans to try and develop an original game inspired by the 1996 jaunt through High Rock and about seven thousand other places.
After telling Dualshockers that he’d already started working on his own “Daggerfall-style” game that’ll ideally feature “[a] big world, complex systems, [and] mod support” that’re similar to those found in Daggerfall Unity, Clayton has provided some extra insight into where he’s currently at with these plans.

Yes, you can build a fully functional mech in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
If you were wondering if it’s possible to build a mech in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – yes, yes it is.
As soon as we all saw the fact you could make some absolutely wacky constructions in those Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom trailers, we all knew that people would end up building some impressive structures. After all, we live in a world where people create entire cities in Minecraft, so with the tools available in Tears of the Kingdom, someone was going to make something cool eventually. Well, it’s not eventually as the game only came out yesterday, but someone has in fact already made a mech. Spoiler warning for some gameplay mechanics ahead.
The clip comes from 4kliksAlex, which you can watch here, showing off the build and it’s obviously absolutely ridiculous. Not only is it completely mobile, driving around the place on a couple of wheels, but it comes complete with the appropriate artillery too. This mech isn’t just for looks, it’s got functionality too! About halfway through the video you can see the mech take down a Hinox in a matter of seconds.
Yes, Bella Ramsey is a huge Eurovision fan
If you thought you couldn’t love Bella Ramsey anymore, now we know she’s a Eurovision stan.
The Last Of Us star hopped on BBC‘s YouTube Channel to address the internet’s misconceptions about the Eurovision Song Contest. She opens the video by saying, “Hello my name is Bella Ramsey and no one loves Eurovision more than me.” Responding to a tweet reading, “I get Eurovision, I just don’t get it,” Ramsey says, “I’m sorry you don’t understand fun.” Preach!
The video is almost as joyful as Eurovision itself, a mighty feat! But the Ramsey Eurovision love didn’t end on YouTube. Over on BBC’s TikTok account clips of Ramsey’s interview gained traction, specifically the part where she boogied to “Lipstick” by Jedward. In a separate clip, Ramsey performs the trending “bombastic side-eye” audio in response to those who deem themselves above Eurovision.
