When thinking about bigfoot, one often thinks of the lush northern rain forests of the Pacific Northwest rather than a tiny town on the outskirts of San Antonio. Frank Pain paints a picture as to why there’s a Texas town called Bigfoot and its curious connection to Davy Crockett. Yet there’s other strangeness in the Lone Star State, and who better to weave those yarns but Mike Mayes who recalls The Lobo Girl Of the Devil’s River. “Raised by wolves” is just the beginning of the story which simply grew big, much like Texas, yet in true Texas fashion all eyewitnesses stuck to their guns when it came to these seemingly tall tales.
