Updated Phasmophobia roadmap promises big changes to the horror game
Kinetic Games released a new Phasmophobia roadmap covering the remainder of 2022 and into 2023 with a number of planned updates for the horror game, including overhauled weather and completely remade ghosts. The roadmap release coincides with the big Phasmophobia custom difficulty update that introduces custom difficulties alongside a new asylum map that, as fans requested, is smaller.

Phasmophobia maps are too big, new fan poll says
The players have spoken, and they say they want smaller Phasmophobia maps. The popular post on Reddit that sparked the discussion proposed a handful of new map locations in a poll to see what players would like. These included a mall, an abandoned factory, and a circus (please, I beg you – no), along with an office park and an outdoors location. The general consensus in the comments was that what Phasmo needs more than haunted circuses and toilet blocks of doom is something smaller.

Some Phasmophobia ghosts can open the front door, it turns out
Phasmophobia ghosts all have a range of unique abilities, most of which players have learned by heart. Some leave fewer traces of their presence, others are more likely to hunt you down in the dark, and one can even use the abilities of other ghosts. What none of them can do is affect the front door, except during hunts when it locks automatically – or so we thought. During a recent in-game investigation Reddit user IgneousWrath conducted, they were caught between trying to decide if the ghost was a Yurei or an Oni, not helped by the surplus of ghost events taking place.
