“Caresha please” is exactly what a number of Twitter users are telling City Girls‘ star Yung Miami after the rapper – who has been making waves as hostess of her own Web-based talk show ‘Caresha Please’ – took to Twitter to share her big dreams for the platform and her foray into interviewing.
Since its debut over the summer, the REVOLT series has garnered millions of views for its raw and honest discussions with some of Urban culture’s biggest names like Diddy, Megan Thee Stallion, Saweetie, and more.
Now, thanks to an interesting comment the 28-year-old made about Oprah Winfrey on Twitter Tuesday night (September 27), commenters are having an open and honest discussion with Miami about awareness.
More inside.
As America’s first Black woman billionaire, Oprah – a media mogul whose career touches almost every corner of entertainment from hosting to production and more – is used to being the center of others’ aspirations.
Yung Miami, on the other hand, received quite a few side-eyes Tuesday when she suggested she’s on her way to becoming the “Black” Oprah – a message that left many scratching their heads because O is already the “Black Oprah.”
Before giving the rapstress time to explain if the comment was a joke, shade, or simply an oversight, commenters went in. See highlights below.

Miami’s Twitter statement echoes commentary she made in an ‘XXL’ interview lifted to the net earlier this week.
When quizzed about the future of the ‘Caresha Please,’ she was clear that the sky is the limit.
“I want to take it to the next level. I want to be like—I think she has a podcast now—a person like Wendy Williams. I’m dreaming big. I want to go to the highest of the highest. I want to be the Black Oprah,” she told the Urban mag.
