Through a partnership with Aleph, TikTok, Spotify, Meta, Snapchat, Twitter, Google, Reddit, Twitch, and nearly 30 others can unlock untapped revenue in new markets while providing access and education so advertisers can take full advantage of the platform’s advertising capabilities.
Our solutions widen access to the global digital ecosystem creating a world where digital advertising is more equal across the globe.
How did you come up with the idea for the company? What do you think makes this company unique?
In 2005, I created Internet Media Services (IMS), a company launched to connect advertisers with the Latin American market. Having started the business with just $5,000 in capital, we quickly went on to partner exclusively with Twitter around their Latin American operations. I focused on developing that business model and winning exclusive partnerships with other digital giants like Spotify, Waze, LinkedIn, Snapchat and others.
I was determined to bring this model to other markets, and sought other companies that had similar business models in markets beyond Latam, knowing that these strategic acquisitions would provide much needed global coverage for advertisers and partners. In 2021, I formed Aleph Group, Inc as a corporate brand, now present in 93 markets, with over 1,400 employees and offices in 50+ countries on four continents.
In addition to the fact that we provide a full end to end solution for advertisers and partners globally, what makes Aleph unique is that we invest in educational programs that help people in emerging countries develop professional careers in digital media. Digital advertising is a growing industry with an unmet demand for talent.
I’m convinced that digital marketing certifications can have a massive impact on the industry, the lives of individuals—and ultimately, their local economies. That is why Aleph is developing the next generation of digital advertising professionals through Aleph’s Digital Ad Expert, an educational platform committed to training and certifying digital advertising professionals in emerging countries.

How has the company evolved over the last couple of years?
I’ve spent my entire career talking to advertisers across the world, and have become acutely aware of the challenges they face trying to compete in emerging countries. Advertisers have unique needs –– they need tools in their local language built with a level of flexibility that works for them. That’s why Aleph designs proprietary technology.
These tools that Aleph builds have always been part of my vision to equalize the accessibility of digital advertising.
The second area of radical innovation at Aleph is in its cross-border credit and payment solutions. Financial and legal procedures of each country and currency have historically made cross-border collections and payments a huge hurdle to do business abroad. I believe the complexities of cross-border payments should never limit global business; that’s why Aleph handles the entire process.
We take care of credit analysis, approval for advertisers, regulation compliance, tax collection, FX management, settlements, and reporting, making the seemingly impossible possible – delivering a single payment to each partner, regardless of the number of currencies they are working with. In 2021, Aleph issued 142k invoices to 15,500 advertisers in 90 countries in 47 currencies.
These solutions enable platforms to expand into new markets, essential for platform growth, and advertisers to exist in markets they never imagined reachable.
What can we hope to see from Aleph in the future?
Aleph’s purpose is to equalize the global digital ecosystem. I want to create a more equal world where people and businesses of emerging countries can participate, grow, and thrive at a global scale.
Finding ways for advertisers to connect with the world’s leading digital platforms is in our DNA so continuing to build out our technology and opening up Digital Ad Expert in additional countries is in our future.
