A “Randlefest” first features Kevin talking to leading Swedish researcher Clas Svahn on that country’s varied (and rather different) UFO history. Though Kevin’s summary of the interview is as always very good, the details arising in the dialogue make for fascinating listening. Kevin here refers to differences he had with a TV episode which had Expedition Unknown in Socorro. Kevin notes that the “lunar landing test” explanation the program presented was wrong on at least five clear counts, being an example of what the late Karl Pflock would call “inconvenient facts and the will to believe.” Kevin deals with another iconic case (and book he has written) in Levelland and Sightings. Not sure that the Internet “provides us with the totality of human knowledge”—for example, some secret stuff’s still not included—but Kevin’s a master at using the ‘net. Example: Kevin following Rich Reynolds’ notification gives the link to another Eyes on Cinema treasure on that November 1957 sightings series. And a communication exchange with another person long in the UFO field led to Kevin’s Kathleen Marden — No Longer a Ufologist? Kevin handles this new information very well. (WM)
