And now, months on, it’s scored another major touchdown.
For, it won the Emmy for Outstanding Variety Special (Live) – marking a historic first win for the Halftime Show in the category.

The Dr. Dre curated spectacle also nabbed an award for Outstanding Production Design for a Variety Special.
An undoubtedly huge feat for all, it now sees Slim Shady become just one award short of EGOT status. For, the rapper has now won an Emmy, GRAMMYs, and an Oscar. All that’s remaining is a Tony.
