Two interesting reports from the UK today. Some visitors in Clevedon spotted something unusual in the waters off the Somerset coast. Folks are joking that the new roadwork plan is so confusing that even Nessie got lost. While it makes for good commentary about the skills of the local planning department, we’re not particularly convinced that what was photographed was a living creature. Let’s move on and look up at the Mysterious Sky Circles Over North Wales That Appeared At Same Time As Northern Lights. The aurora borealis provides an excellent backdrop for light to be reflected from the Earth, so the unusual light show could have been from nightclubs and car lots. Or it could have been ET saying “Hi.” Or any other number of possibilities. We just really wish we’d been there to take it in ourselves. (CM)
