We’re a SaaS retail operations technology business. Our platform currently supports over 15,000 stores in more than 50 countries. Clients include fashion leaders such as Hugo Boss, Lacoste and Superdry, to health and lifestyle brands such as Holland & Barrett as well as other sectors. StorIQ was purpose built using inside knowledge of the challenges facing retailers and I think that’s why we enjoy a market-leading customer retention rate of 95%
Our app saves time for retail store teams and increases workforce satisfaction through streamlining communications, driving critical tasks and delivering data, which helps retailers maximise their stores’ performance. Even though we’re a tech company, customers tell us we deliver much more making the investment not in ‘tech’ but in the people that power retail.
How did you come up with the idea for the company? What makes you unique?
I have 20 years of retail leadership experience at John Lewis, Cath Kidston and Crew Clothing, which makes me innately aware of the challenges facing retailers and what they need from a technology platform.
When I started my role as Commercial director at Crew Clothing, most of my retail experience had been online and I missed the data and analytics of online trading. I was chatting about this to serial SaaS entrepreneur Pete Wake and we ended up building an early prototype of what is now StorIQ.

How has the company evolved over the last couple of years?
I was a StorIQ customer working to develop it alongside Pete before being appointed MD of the company. We initially bootstrapped the business to build a sustainable, profitable foundation before seeking external funding. Since launch we’ve grown consistently thanks to the strength of the platform and our intuitive user experience. In fact, customers who have come to us from competitors tell us how superior it is.
In 2022 we were acquired by Cegid, a leading provider of cloud business management solutions. My goal is for StorIQ to be continually recognised as the leading retail operations platform and accelerate our growth.
What can we hope to see from StorIQ in the future?
To further support our customers and set their workforce up for success. Our mission is to revolutionise their operations so they can do less with more and enable retail leaders to improve workforce happiness as well as profitability.
From a company perspective, we’re on our way to gaining the biggest share of the retail operations tech market and planning to expand our customer base further throughout the UK, Ireland, Europe, US, Canada and Australia.
