To celebrate its 10th anniversary, 4A Games is letting anyone snag its seminal sequel, Metro: Last Light, for free on Steam between May 18-25. Once you add the game to your Steam library, it’s yours to keep.
Metro: Last Light directly follows the game series’ debut, Metro 2033, continuing the story of Artyom and his fight for survival in the harrowing tunnels beneath a post-apocalyptic Russian metropolis. The sequel honed the mechanics of the first, retaining the tough-as-nails first-person action while improving it with polished gunplay and less-obscure mechanics. It’s a game that looked fantastic when it launched and will still turn heads today.
Immerse yourself in the year 2034 – you are the last light in the darkest hour.
To celebrate Metro: Last Light’s 10th Anniversary, the original Complete Edition of the 2013 game will be available for free on @Steam from 18-25 May.
