A MUM has been left furious after a neighbour reserved parking spaces with cones and ended up blocking off the whole street.
The troublesome resident reportedly tried to save the space outside his home, but has apparently stretched the scheme too far.

In a post on Mumsnet, the frustrated parent claimed the motorist blocks out not just space for his car, but also enough of an area to move his car into the space.
He even allegedly tries to save spaces for delivery drivers and window cleaners, edging out all the other residents.
The mum fumed: “All residents have to pay for permit parking. Neighbours – who are around 80 – have started putting cones outside their house to reserve their space. They put them over two spaces too, I’m guessing so he has space to manoeuvre in.
“They often put cones out for delivery vans and window cleaners etc, again meaning I can’t park. They are elderly but he’s quite capable of walking and is out and about walking all the time.

Commenters were quick to reassure her that she was in the right, especially as the space blocker was taking up many more than needed for his car.
One wrote: “It’s clearly unreasonable. I’d just move them and park there, especially if they’ve blocked off two spaces.”

Another chimed in: “Move the cones every time they put them out. If they need a disabled space outside their house, they can apply for one.”
A third user added they have a similar problem with the neighbour using wheelie bins to block off spaces.
