Amidst a general “news gap” since the mandated October 31st date for the government’s latest UFO/UAP report passed, a citizen-based effort to preserve, study, and disseminate quality information is gaining traction. Griffin Rushton features a substantial on-site interview with David Marler, Executive Director of the National UFO Historical Records Center. Media outside the US southwest has taken note (see our November 25th review of the US News & World Report pickup of an AP story). Internationally, WalesOnline’s Dominic Picksley headlines First-ever Archive Centre of UFO Material to be Created in the US. Picksley quotes British researcher Philip Mantle as saying this initiative “is the beginning of a new dawn for UFO research and investigation.” And Mantle is putting his own “humble archive of UFO files” behind that statement. Within the UFO “community,” Kevin Randle welcomes the “good news from the civilian side” in his UAPs and National UFO Historical Records Center. The “two pals” in Kevin’s photo of the Center’s current innards are UFO archival icons Barry Greenwood (foreground standing) and Jan Aldrich (far background). Kevin also mentions the great work being done by Clas Svahn and the Swedish Archives for the Unexplained, as well as recent US sightings of apparent triangular UFOs. (WM)
