At the peak of its popularity, ‘War’ peaked at #57 on the Hot 100 and remains her highest-charting solo single on the tally. Most notably it topped the Adult R&B Songs chart for a whopping 9 weeks – one of the chart’s longest-running reigns.
The report comes as the singer’s dedicated fans, affectionately called #Tamartians, await official news on her yet-titled fifth traditional studio album which she says has been delayed due to some unexpected behind the scenes action.
