‘Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League’ is delayed until February 2nd, 2024
It’ll be quite a while before you can help take out the Justice League. As recent reports suggested, Warner Bros. Games and Rocksteady Studios have delayed Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League once again following a brutal reaction to a showcase of the game. Rather than arriving on May 26th, the title now has a release date of February 2nd, 2024. That’s yet another delay after Warner Bros. Games pushed back the game from an initial 2022 release window to sometime this spring.
“We have made the tough but necessary decision to take the time needed to work on getting the game to be the best quality experience for players,” a statement on the Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League Twitter account reads. “Thank you to our amazing community for the continued support, patience and understanding. There is much more to share in the months ahead and we look forward to seeing you in Metropolis next year.”

We got our most in-depth look at the game to date during a PlayStation State of Play in February, but it’s fair to say that fans gave the deep dive a poor reception. The live service elements that Rocksteady showed off were the focus of the criticism, with many folks reacting negatively to the always-online requirement (something Arcane is working to nix from Redfall’s single-player mode), as well as gating cosmetic items behind microtransactions and a battle pass system.
However, Rocksteady is reportedly using the extra time to polish the game rather than overhaul its live service aspects. The studio will be focusing on ironing out bugs and improving elements it feels aren’t quite up to scratch, according to Bloomberg.
Whatever Rocksteady feels as though it needs more time to work on, announcing a delay of eight months only six weeks or so before the game was supposed to drop isn’t a great look. That said, WB has the biggest-selling title of the year so far under its belt, which perhaps gives it a bit more flexibility to scuttle off Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League into early 2024. When it does eventually arrive, the co-op action-adventure game will be available on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

The battery life on these 2nd generation AirPods provides up to five hours of listening time or three hours of talk time. Amazon Pauses Construction On 2nd Headquarters In Virginia
He also emphasized the company remains “committed to Arlington” and the local region, which Amazon picked — along with New York City — to be the site of its new headquarters, known as HQ2, several years ago. More than 230 municipalities had initially competed to house the projects. New York won the competition by promising nearly $3 billion in tax breaks and grants, among other benefits, but opposition from local politicians, labor leaders and progressive activists led Amazon to scrap its plans there. In February 2021, Amazon said it would build an eye-catching, 350-foot Helix tower to anchor the second phase of its redevelopment plans in Arlington. The new office towers were expected to welcome more than 25,000 workers when complete. Amazon spokesperson Zach Goldsztejn said those plans haven’t changed and the construction pause is not a result — or indicative of — the company’s latest job cuts, which affected 18,000 corporate employees.
Goldsztejn said the company is expecting to move forward with what he called pre-construction work on the construction in Virginia later this year, including applying for permits. He said final timing for the second phase of the project is still being determined. […] Suzanne Clark, a spokeswoman for the Virginia Economic Development Partnership, said state officials are not concerned about Amazon filling its commitments. The total of 8,000 workers now employed at the new headquarters is already running about 3,000 ahead of what was expected at this point, she said. She said no incentive money has been paid out yet to Amazon.

Rihanna is pregnant with her 2nd child, publicist confirms after singer shows off baby bump in Super Bowl Halftime show
RIHANNA is pregnant with her second child, her representative has confirmed.
The singer, 34, raised fans’ suspicions after showing off her baby bump during her Super Bowl LVII halftime show.

Rihanna is indeed pregnant with her second child, her rep confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter.
The news comes just 10 months after she and A$AP Rocky welcomed their first, a baby boy whose name is unknown.
Rihanna took to the stage at State Farm stadium for the Super Bowl LVII Halftime show on Sunday wearing a figure-hugging red flight suit.
Underneath, she revealed her baby bump in a matching top with a latex bust.
Throughout the 17-minute set, the mom-of-one stormed through her best-known hits – but did very little dancing.
She instead rubbed her stomach, grabbed her butt and even did hip thrusts.
Some viewers thought they could spot a bump on the singer, who welcomed her first baby last year with A$AP Rocky.
“Sorry but Rihanna look REAL PREGNANT!” wrote on Twitter.
“Is Rihanna pregnant, or at least recently pregnant? asked another. “Interesting costume choice if not.”
“So we all think is Rihanna pregnant again, right?” chimed in a third.
A fourth wrote: “Was the surprised ‘guest’ the belly?” referring to the performance’s lack of special guests.
Rihanna dropped a cryptic hint before her performance that she would not be alone on the stage.
“I’m thinking about bringing someone. I’m not sure, we’ll see,’ she told CBS’ Nate Burleson.
‘Redfall’ brings open-world vampire hunting to Xbox and PC on May 2nd
It’s arriving several months later than expected, but Arkane’s next big game is (relatively) close at hand. The studio has confirmed that Redfall will be available on May 2nd for Xbox Series X/S and Windows PCs, with launch day access through Game Pass. As before, the vampire-slaying shooter is an expansion of the formulas behind Dishonored and Prey — it’s a stealth-friendly game built with multiplayer and unpredictability in mind.
Like other Arkane titles, Redfall hinges on player choice. You can directly fight the vampires taking over the game’s namesake town, but you’ll also be rewarded if you take the stealthy approach or make clever uses of your gear. The open world concept isn’t strictly new (Prey had it), but the choice of characters and online play are. You can choose a hero that reflects your play style, and up to four people can take down the villains in co-op mode. Certain tactics only work when you’re playing as a team.
The free-ranging gameplay adds some variety, but you can also expect weapons with randomized stats and customization. Some mechanics will be familiar. You’ll find activities beyond the main story missions (such as rescuing survivors), skill trees and other systems that encourage doing more than the essentials.
It’s too soon to say if Redfall will maintain Arkane’s reputation. However, it’s evident the developer is happy to build on its better-known gameplay mechanics rather than take some chances like it did with Deathloop. If you tried Prey and wished your friends could join in, though, you might be happy.
