CoD: Warzone 2 How To Use Sea Treasure Tokens On Ashika Island
Season 2 of Call of Duty: Warzone 2 arrived on February 15, adding the brand-new Ashika Island Resurgence map. In addition to being a fresh location for battle royale, Ashika Island also introduces a new lootable token that can be collected. Here we’ll guide you through how to locate and use this new currency.
Where to find Sea Treasure Tokens
Ashika Island introduces Sea Treasure Tokens as a new lootable item in Warzone 2. Sea Treasure Tokens are exclusive to the island map, so you won’t find these on Al Mazrah. These new tokens can be found in every type of crate on the island and looted from dead players, but they’re most abundant in the blue Resurgence crates.

CoD: Warzone 2 DMZ – How To Get All Ashika Island Weapon Case Event Rewards
The second season of Call of Duty: Warzone 2 adds the new Ashika Island map for battle royale and DMZ. This new map also includes a new Weapon Case event for DMZ, and here we guide you through everything you need to know to get all the new rewards.
Weapon Case events explained
Ashika Island’s DMZ’s Weapon Case event works much like the one on Al Mazrah. The event only happens once per match, and it can quickly turn into a chaotic free-for-all, as only one person can claim the reward each game. There are seven unique rewards that can be earned here.
How to locate and complete the event
The event is located at the island’s Castle POI, and there’s a yellow folder icon with a question mark to highlight the specific area within the castle. Here you’ll need to gain access to a locked area and fight through enemies to collect a weapon briefcase. This case then needs to be successfully extracted for you to earn the rewards.
CoD: Warzone 2 And Modern Warfare 2 Season 2 Launch Trailer Highlights Ashika Island Map And More
Activision has released the official launch trailer for Season 2 of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2. The second season adds a Japanese theme with the new Ashika Island map for battle royale and DMZ.
The Season 2 launch trailer shows brief moments of action on Warzone 2’s new Ashika Island map. The Japanese-themed island is a smaller, secondary map designed for Warzone 2’s Resurgence respawn modes and DMZ, and the map will have seven main points of interest.
In addition to Ashika Island, the Al Mazrah map is also getting a change to an existing point of interest. The trailer shows just a glimpse of the added crash site to the Caves location, which longtime fans might recognize as the crashed plane from the Afghan map in 2009’s Modern Warfare 2. Al Mazrah’s Caves already mimicked much of the design from the Afghan map, but the iconic crash site was previously missing from the area.

Ashika Island is a smaller, secondary map designed for Warzone 2’s “Resurgence” respawn modes and DMZ. The island is described as being part of a small archipelago located somewhere in the Asia Pacific region. The official reveal trailer can be seen below.
Season 2’s story details reveal that Ashika Island has been used by a group known as the Ultranationalist Konni Group for the transportation of chemical and biological weapons. Intel from a “redacted” source suggests that noxious weaponry was being shipped there from a suspected biolab facility in Al Mazrah.
