The Italian Data Protection Agency gives OpenAI a chance to avoid being banned
At the end of March, the Italian Data Protection Authority (the “Garante”), announced that OpenAI’s fancy new ChatGPT software would imminently be blocked from use within the European nation over concerns that ChatGPT’s training and function violate the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). On Wednesday, the Garante published a list of necessary steps OpenAI will have to take by the end of April if Italy is to lift its temporary limitation on the processing of its user data.
“OpenAI will have to draft and make available, on its website, an information notice describing the arrangements and logic of the data processing required for the operation of ChatGPT along with the rights afforded to data subjects,” the Garante announced. Additionally, Italian users must be shown said notice and will have to declare that they are over the age of 18 prior to the completion of their registrations. What’s more, the company will be required to age gate the site to filter out users under the age of 18 by the end of September.
The Garante is also demanding that the company enact “easily accessible tools to allow non-users to exercise their right to object to the processing of their personal data,” per Wednesday’s release. “The same right will have to be afforded to users if legitimate interest is chosen as the legal basis for processing their data.”
Finally, OpenAI must by May, 31st run “through radio, TV, newspapers and the Internet” an ad campaign informing the public about their data collection methods and how Italians’ personal information will be used to train the company’s algorithms. In all, OpenAI has just 18 days to get all of its regulatory ducks in a row before the regulator implements additional penalties.

While the TikToker is a member of the “free the tatas” movement, she feels the urge to cover up while on school property[/caption]
The relatable mom, who goes by @simply_ellieebo on TikTok, regularly posts about parenting and relationships.
Recently, she turned her attention to another topic: school-appropriate fashion.
Around the world, more woman have embraced a bra-free look, sharing their looks on social media and encouraging others to do the same.
While this particular TikToker supports the message, she expressed that there is one place where she doesn’t feel comfortable ditching her undergarments.
She began her video by showing off her mid-section and perky bust in a slim-fitting tank.
The casual look didn’t last for long.
The 24-year-old looked embarrassed as she slowly began buttoning an oversized flannel over her minimal clothing.
“POV: it’s hot mom spring but you still have to go in the school to get your kids,” she wrote over her video.
She finished the segment by pulling down her jean shorts before walking out of the camera’s view.
“Thats a wrap for today – could have been a little bit awkward,” she admitted in the caption.
Quite a few people agreed with the TikToker’s revelation about her school style.
“I feel awkward wearing a tank top to pick mine up,” one person agreed. “Idk why. like I’m a grown adult but it makes me feel so weird.”
Another person said that they use to worry about how they looked, but stopped caring after having multiple children.
“This used to be me. Now after three, I’m sad I even cared,” she wrote.
Some people took the opportunity to joke about the social pressure.
“Dress coded for more than just your own kid,” a third commented.
With warmer days coming up, @simply_ellieebo’s post adequately captures a common conundrum faced by many woman in her position.

I’m a food safety expert – the hidden sign your meat is ROTTEN… here’s how to avoid getting sick
A FOOD safety expert has revealed the hidden sign your meat is rotten – and how to avoid getting sick.

A food expert has revealed how to spot if your meat no longer alright to eat[/caption]
She explained how to spot your meat is past the point of being edible – and it’s quite simple.
The food safety expert explained it’s a matter of “using your senses”.
Sylvia said by looking at the colour of particular raw meats, or their texture, you can tell whether they’re rotten or not.
She told MailOnline: “When anything goes off it’s called food spoilage.
“For example, when chicken goes off it goes green while when meat goes off it goes slimy.
“It will have white dots on it, and it will go darker. You can tell by the appearance and colour of the food.”
Sylvia added: “If you buy fresh pork most people with common sense can tell if there’s a rancid smell or the colour changes.”
The pro, who is one of the leading food safety experts in the UK, said it can be harder to tell if cooked meat in a ready meal is still good to eat or not.
She said: “That’s more dangerous because the customer won’t see that.
“If it’s ready to eat, it might already be partially cooked. That means it’s been cooked, chilled and the customer will buy and reheat.
“They won’t know because they can’t smell it and eat it and then have food poisoning.
“If it’s a pork dish in a state of rawness you can tell straight away. But if it’s already been processed in some sort of manner and it’s something you stick in the oven or reheat… you’re going to find out when you’re vomiting and having diarrhoea.”
It’s not uncommon for experts to give advice on food.
One woman recently revealed that a hoover is the answer to keeping food fresh.
Another woman claimed there are six frozen food myths that cost millions of households £420 a year.
And one expert revealed that there is a special word on break packing that means you should avoid buying it.
Microsoft offers to change cloud licensing practices to avoid EU antitrust probe, says report
Microsoft has reportedly agreed to change its cloud computing practices in order to avoid an antitrust probe from the European Commission, the EU’s antitrust authority.
The potential probe relates to complaints made by European cloud companies including Aruba, OVHcloud, Danish Cloud Community and the Association of Cloud Infrastructure Service Providers (CISPE) about changes Microsoft first made to the terms of its outsourcing license agreement in 2019, and then modified again in 2022.
The cloud vendors raised concerns after their customers were asked to pay more to run Microsoft software in non-Microsoft cloud environments, under what they saw as restrictive cloud licensing policies.
