Huge CANINE-LIKE ‘LASER-EYED’ BEAST Encountered in Northeast Pennsylvania
A northeast Pennsylvania former US Marine describes an encounter that he had while hiking in the local woods. The unidentified beast was canine-like but had remarkable laser eyes!
The witness (no name given), a former marine, had moved to northeast Pennsylvania in 1972 after getting out of the forces. He worked as an officer and spent many hours in the woods per his job and also for recreational purposes (hunting, hiking, etc.)
One day in September 2002, he was in the woods hiking when he heard loud crashing sounds (trees falling and footfalls) which seemed to be following him. He became spooked and decided to head back. It was around 2:00 PM when he hit the railroad tracks, which lead back to his vehicle. To his right was a meadow, and to his left was a forest.
In that forest, some 20 feet away, he spotted a strange creature unlike any he had seen before. It was sitting upright “just like a human” apparently eating a freshly killed deer, which was in its lap. The creature had the longest legs the witness had ever seen. He guessed that it was around 500 pounds (skinny 7-foot long legs, skinny waist, thicker upper body, though, not muscular), was solid black, clean (like it went through a “car wash”), with huge feet and with hair hanging off the elbows of its long arms. Its back was mostly hairless (shedding?) while the chest, stomach, and shoulders were hairy. Its head reminded him of a wolf, or a Great Dane, medium length snout with tiny ears atop its head. It also had a really long red tongue and double rows of teeth, not unlike a shark. Had it stood up, he guessed that it would have been around 11 feet tall.
“It took me a little bit to rationalize in my mind what I saw.” The strangest was yet to come. “So when I took the two steps to my left, it turned its head. it heard me. It turned its head to the left and this thing was a demon and I’ll tell you why. It had two laser-like beams come out of its eyes and the beams were red with green trim around it.” The beams only lasted a few seconds and then they were gone, receding back into its eyes. As crazy as it sounded, the witness was certain of what he had seen.
When the creature turned and looked at him, the witness sensed that it wanted to kill him. Terrified, he took off running. Even though he had a Magnum, he didn’t think it would stop this beast. He was so panicked that he tripped and fell yet that is when he noticed that it did not seem to be following him. He got back to his truck and left the area. He never stepped foot in those woods again.
Thinking about it later, he believed that the creature, which he was never able to truly identify, had been stalking him, and had it not caught the deer, he would have most likely been its dinner. He spoke to a friend later about his sighting and discovered that other people had seen something similar in that area.
“I got a friend of mine. He’s got a recycling center about a mile and a half down from my house and he’s picking up some gym equipment but I’m telling him the story. He said, my brother, almost word for word, except for the head, he’s seen one right in that same area. He said, but this was a small one. It looked like a kid. It had a kid’s face. I said, Oh wow, he said to me, it looked up and down the road, before it crossed, so it didn’t get run over.”

NOTE: The cryptid canine reports that I have read or received from the eastern region of Pennsylvania are, by far, some of the most bizarre encounters. Lon

Joe Biden CAN bring his armoured Beast limo to the Queen’s funeral – while other world leaders take the bus
JOE Biden CAN take his armoured Beast limo to the Queen’s funeral rather than catching the bus, it emerged last night.
French President Emmanuel Macron, Japan’s Emperor Natuhito and Israel’s President Herzog are also all likely to avoid the heads-of-state coach trip.

The US President, 79, has confirmed he is going to the Queen’s funeral with First Lady Jill[/caption]
They will instead be allowed to take their own transport to Westminster Abbey next Monday.
The US President, for instance, can take his armoured Cadillac, known as the Beast, for security reasons.
His £1.5m behemoth weighs 11 tons, has eight-inch armour and can reportedly withstand a chemical attack.
A government source told The Times it would be inappropriate to ask G7 leaders to catch a shuttle bus, but added dignitaries have been asked to be flexible.

Reports yesterday suggested the President and other world leaders would have to leave their cars at a location in West London before being shuttled to the funeral.
They would then be shuttled back after a reception following the funeral, leaked communications suggested.
Limos were reportedly banned under tight security. Leaders were also thought to have been asked to travel on commercial flights and banned from using helicopters.
It came after a no-fly zone was approved over the capital as authorities gear up for what is said to be the largest ever security operation in the UK.

The leaked communication by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office revealed world leaders have been asked to travel on commercial flights where possible.
Anyone who insists on travelling by private jet must land at smaller airports because Heathrow will be unavailable.
Helicopter transfers between airports and venues are also reportedly banned due to the number of flights operating at the time.
Only leaders and their spouse or partner will be invited due to limited space and they will be forced to leave their private state vehicles behind.
Those who cannot attend can nominate another official to go on their behalf.
The FCDO said in its communication it “regrets that, because of limited space at the state funeral service and associated events, no other members of the principal guest’s family, staff or entourage may be admitted”.
One previous visits to Britain, US presidents have flown into Stansted airport on Air Force One.
They have then continued their journey on the Marine One chopper or bombproof “Beast” limousine accompanied by dozens of bodyguards.
Last year at the G7 summit in Cornwall, Mr Biden brought two giant limousines and 400 Secret Service agents.
The White House confirmed Mr Biden and First Lady Jill will attend the funeral next Monday.
King Charles III will host a reception for all overseas leaders at Buckingham Palace on the evening before the funeral, the document also revealed.
They can visit the Queen lying in state and sign a condolence book at Lancaster House afterwards.

There they can also deliver tributes of up to three minutes which will be recorded for the media.
Foreign Secretary James Cleverley will be hosting their reception after the service.

Beast Breaker devs are closing due to lack of funding, along with their historic workers union
Vodeo Games, the first game development studio in North America to unionise, are shutting down. The team behind turn-based RPG Beast Breaker announced their closure on Twitter, after being unable to find financial backers for another project. Beast Breaker wasn’t a game I was familiar with but its little mouse protagonist looks charming, as you can see in the trailer below.
Sennheiser’s more-affordable soundbar is still a premium-sounding beast
Sennheiser’s debut soundbar, released in 2019, was a niche product for a couple of reasons. The first was the price. At $2,499.95, it rivaled the cost of many traditional surround sound systems comprised of AV receivers and multiple speakers. But perhaps more important was its size. I say this with love, but the original Ambeo Soundbar (which has now been renamed the Ambeo Soundbar Max) was a chunky boy, which hardly made it an easy sell for anyone looking to tuck it discreetly in front of their TV.
So although it’s $1,000 cheaper, I think price might only be the second most important change with Sennheiser’s second soundbar, the $1,499.95 Ambeo Soundbar Plus, which the company launched today at an event in Berlin. Instead, I think its…

Idris Elba runs into big cat trouble… again: KATE MUIR reviews Beast
It’s a good time to revisit The Ghost and the Darkness, the Beast movie of the 1990s
Val Kilmer in his 1990s heyday anchored a lion-attack movie with all the pretense of a serious historical drama
‘Beast’ review: Idris Elba kicks lion butt in fun survival thriller
Whether or not you’ll enjoy Beast depends on how you answer the following question: Do you want to see Idris Elba punch a lion? If your answer is yes (and it should be, let’s be honest), then Beast is 100% the movie for you.
Beast does indeed feature Idris Elba punching a lion, but it’s also got a whole lot more going for it. In the mood for killer tension, immersive set pieces, and compelling family drama? Watch Beast. Searching for the perfect adrenaline rush blockbuster to wind down your summer? Watch Beast. Do you just really want to see Idris Elba punch a lion? (Okay, I may have already mentioned that a few times, but it bears repeating.) Anyway, watch Beast.
‘Orphan: First Kill’ review: A cunning horror prequel with dark laughs and its own sick twist
Beast gives us high-stakes man vs. lion action
Beast stars Elba as Nate, a recently widowed doctor on a vacation to South Africa with his daughters Meredith (Iyana Halley) and Norah (Leah Jeffries). They’re staying at a nature reserve run by family friend Martin (Sharlto Copley), who introduced Nate to his late wife. For Nate, this trip is an opportunity to reconnect with Meredith and Norah. They resent him for how he handled the separation from their mother, and for how he handled her later illness.
What starts as a gorgeous safari into the South African bush quickly becomes a nightmare when Nate, Meredith, Norah, and Martin cross paths with a bloodthirsty lion. This is no ordinary lion: He’s on a rampage against humans to get revenge on the poachers who murdered his pride. (Don’t think too hard about this — what matters is that the lion is angry and that a whole bunch of badassery is about to go down.)
Director Baltasar Kormákur casts a suspenseful spell with his use of long tracking shots as we follow our heroes through the bush. There’s a constant sense of movement and immersion throughout the film, whether we’re trailing Nate through an abandoned village or searching for the lion in the undergrowth. The reliance on tracking shots can make the transitions to static shot-reverse-shot conversations feel jarring, but overall they do their job and they do it well.

And then there’s the lion, a stalking, snarling CGI beast that holds up visually throughout the film. It lurks out of frame, or sometimes in the background, biding its time before it can come back and come after Nate and his family again. It probably helps the lion that his prey are almost consistently making unwise decisions — everyone stop leaving the car! — but the film’s core cast sells every less-than-great choice hard. Sure, Beast has the occasional struggle with clunky dialogue — a discussion about “anti-poaching” is such obvious foreshadowing for a later moment that lands with an awkward thud — but you’ll still be cheering by the time Elba punches. That. Lion.
Idris Elba goes dad mode
Elba is fully in protective father mode for this entire movie. His evolution from “dad having trouble relating to his kids” to “badass action hero who will face down a lion for his daughters” is a blast to watch. It’s made all the better by the film’s earlier scenes, where he mourns his wife and tries to connect with Norah and Meredith.
Halley and Jeffries do great work as Nate’s daughters. Halley nails the balance between Meredith’s fear and her attempts to remain calm in the face of danger. And Jeffries is a ray of light as Norah, delivering some of the film’s funniest lines. Together with Elba, they create a portrait of a dysfunctional yet loving family, and we can’t help but root for them to make it out of the bush alive.
With its core plot of “hunter vs. hunted,” Beast makes for a perfect double feature with this summer’s brilliant Prey. Both are character-driven adventures through the wilderness. Both explore themes of survival and familial bonds. And both feature nail-biting tension and well-executed suspense. Beast scratches the blockbuster itch in a similar way to Prey, and it’s just an all-around good time at the movies. There’s no better way to end your summer than that.
Beast is in theaters Aug. 19.
