Good Morning Britain’s Richard Madeley slammed as he makes ANOTHER inappropriate comment to Lioness
GOOD Morning Britain’s Richard Madeley has been slammed by viewers for making an ‘inappropriate’ comment to footballer Alessia Russo.
The Lioness appeared on the show following England’s roaring success on Sunday evening – and Richard was keen to know who she was feeling after the celebrations.
The 66-year-old began: “How are you feeling? It’s three days on now. If I was your dad and asked you that and said, ‘How are you feeling love?’ What would you say?”
Alessia took his remark in her stride, telling him she exhausted and overwhelmed, adding: something we have been waiting for in women’s football for a long time”.
Those watching at home took to Twitter to question him, with one person writing: “Richard Madeley talking to Women’s footballers, is one of the most cringe things on TV.
“I feel for these ladies having to discuss a huge moment in their lives, with this clueless, patronising numpty. #GMB.”

A second added: “Richard Madeley just said to Alessia Russo, “how you feeling love”? Good grief! How inappropriate..”
While a third wrote: “Do #gmb advertisers endorse the misogynistic Richard Madeley patronising these women footballers?.”
The outrage comes after he decided to call England hero Chloe Kelly ‘Coco’, during her interview on the show yesterday.

He said: “Chloe – or ‘Coco’ as I call my daughter Chloe – Coco, thank you very much indeed for coming in.”
While smiling, Kelly clearly looked as baffled as everyone else by the statement.
The veteran presenter only returned to screens on Monday after a three-week holiday.

My son was knifed to death for nothing by Britain’s most wanted man – you don’t ever move on from that, mum tells TalkTV
A MUM whose son was stabbed to death for nothing by Britain’s most wanted man has said “you never move on from that” in an interview with TalkTV.
In a segment on knife crime on Talk TV, Jeremy Kyle – filling in for host Piers Morgan – spoke to Tracey Hanson over the tragic murder of her son Josh.

Shane O’Brien, murdered 21-year-old Josh Hanson in a London bar back in 2015 in an act of “pitiless savagery” before fleeing the country in a private jet.
But O’Brien was found guilty in 2019 after an international manhunt brought him to justice.
Tracey now runs a charity in his memory which raises awareness of knife crime and helps organisations in tackling it.
Dad-of-five Kyle asked how the mum could move on “from something so horrendous”.

And an emotional Tracey said: “The honest answer is you don’t move on you just move forward.
“Do the absolute best you can in their memory and shine a light on them.
“Josh was just a 21-year-old boy, he was just a man. He walked into a bar and was approached by someone he’d never met before.
“There was no altercation, no argument, no fight – all the things that society thinks should follow any form of violence.”
She added: “We need to have open conversations about this topic and not be scared of these conversations.”

There has been a 46% rise in knife crime in England and Wales in the past 12 months.
And Tracey said that she would like to see certain changes made in order to tackle knife crime.
The brave mother said she would like to see a ” much more uniformed approach” with police, government, communities, parents and schools all involved together.
When quizzed on whether she thought stricter penalties on carrying knives would change anything, Tracey thought it wouldn’t make too much of a difference.
She said: “If you are petrified and carrying a knife because you are scared, the penalty will not outweigh your fear, you’re not going to think about that.
“If you are a criminal or an opportunist and you’re looking to raise your profile then that again will only feed into your profile of ‘I’m a badman’ or I can do this.
“I don’t think that’s the answer, I think the answer is working together in intervention and prevention in a holistic way.
“I do agree that parental responsibility has to shine through but at the same time parents need to be educated.
“I’ve supported parents who don’t even understand some of the consequences of the situation and they’re scared themselves. It’s a very complex situation.”
