Germany considering copying Britain and doing its own Rwanda-style migrants deal
GERMANY is considering copying Britain and doing its own Rwanda-style migrants deal.
It comes as MPs in the Commons will tomorrow vote on Rishi Sunak’s landmark new Bill to “stop the boats”.
As Europe plunges deeper into a migrant crisis, German politicians are calling for their own version of the Rwanda migrants deal to combat the chaos[/caption]
A German version of the Rwanda scheme is popular with Free Democratic Party politician, Joachim Stamp, who urged his government to consider a similar plan[/caption]
Sir Keir Starmer is set to order Labour MPs to vote against it.
But senior German politician Joachim Stamp said Berlin should consider a similar plan.
Deporting migrants to countries in North Africa might be the only way for Europe to cope with the migration crisis, he added.
A Home Office source said: “It is understandable our plans are being looked at by European countries.”
A Home Office source said: “All of Europe is struggling with the same migration crisis. The numbers arriving are spiralling.
“It is understandable our ground-breaking plans to send illegal immigrants to safe other countries – like Rwanda – are being looked at by European countries.
“And it appears they are already looking at it in Germany.
“The people of Europe will not stomach mass illegal migration and chaos at their borders for much longer.”
Mr Sunak has staked his political career on stopping the boats.
Over 45,000 migrants arrived on dinghies last year and there are predictions it could rocket to 80,000 this year.
The Bill would deport all Channel migrants and ban them from claiming asylum.

I’m a gym girl – I showed myself doing spinal decompression, but everyone’s distracted by my glutes
A FIT woman has revealed her new go-to workout for her spine, but fans are distracted by her backside.
She filmed herself doing spinal decompression in the gym.
Kat Holmes is a digital content creator and fitness enthusiast based in Australia[/caption]
However, the gym girl caused a stir when viewers couldn’t focus so much on her spine as her glutes.
Kat Holmes (@iamkatholmes) is an Australia-based digital content creator and fitness junkie.
She shared herself hanging in the gym while doing a training exercise called spinal decompression.
“Watch my spine decompress,” she wrote over the video.
She did an overhead hang in the gym while rocking gray leggings and a black T-shirt.
Her body visibly elongated from the training activity and her posture appeared improved.
Spinal decompression is an exercise that is often recommended by physical therapists and athletes alike.
The activity is thought to relieve pressure on the spine and even make an individual appear taller over time, possibly due to improved posture.
It is touted as an excellent form of stretching and mobility training.
Viewers of the gym girl‘s video, however, claimed they could not focus on her spine specifically.
Many of them took to the comment section to share their thoughts.
“Holy s**t I didn’t even notice the spine,” one wrote.
“The mass below the spine has a greater magnetic field,” another cheekily wrote, referring to her glutes.
“What spine,” a third commented.
