Be careful, Fire Emblem Engage spoilers have already leaked
If you were hoping to pick up Fire Emblem Engage at the end of the week, be careful, as it looks like some spoilers have already cropped up.
Fire Emblem Engage is due out this Friday, January 20, and it looks like some fans already have their hands on copies of the game (thanks, GamesRadar). The general Fire Emblem subreddit has a post warning others that spoilers are out there, saying “The game has started to leak, be careful out there.” The user sharing the warning noted the subreddit already seems to have some spoilers, “but most people have been good with using tags. Just wanted to leave a warning so it’s known.”
So far it seems like some gameplay clips have been shared online, particularly of the early hours, but some have already managed to show off the middle chapters (an impressive feat, almost, considering how long Fire Emblem games can be). There are some unannounced characters that have been shared too, which typically wouldn’t matter too much, but this particular title does feature characters from previous entries in the series, so if you’re hoping to be surprised by your favourite, there’s another reason to be careful.
Fire Emblem Engage Everything To Know
Fire Emblem Engage is Three Houses turned up to 11, for better or worse – preview
The task before Fire Emblem Engage is unenviable. The Fire Emblem series has experienced a meteoric rise – first with the fortune-reversing success of Awakening, which was conceived as the series’ final bow. Then a successful mobile game and Three Houses grew the series to new heights. Can Engage raise the bar even further?
It’s clear that developer Intelligent Systems and publisher Nintendo have a plan to do so. The plan, primarily, is to treat Fire Emblem’s past like blockbuster legend, mashing the old and new together with reckless abandon. The results are curious, and are likely to be divisive among older fans, but are sure to delight those who fell in love with Three Houses.
Over the holidays I’ve been able to play a huge chunk of Fire Emblem Engage towards a review, which you’ll be able to read in a few weeks. But, for now, I can talk to you a little about the earliest chapters of the game.

Fire Emblem Engage – Everything We Know
Fire Emblem spent years in relative obscurity in the West, known mostly for the appearance of some swordfighters in Super Smash Bros. Melee. That changed in 2013 with the release of Fire Emblem: Awakening, the series’ first big breakout hit in North America. Since then the tactical RPG has become one of Nintendo’s most popular and critically-acclaimed series. The latest entry in the series, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, was named one of our Best Games of 2019. So needless to say, a new Fire Emblem is enough to get us very excited.
Fire Emblem Engage is that new game, a fresh entry in the long-running series that pays special homage to its own history. This game centers a major story and gameplay mechanic around summoning characters from past Fire Emblem games, letting us see some of our favorites or learn about characters from games that passed us by. Here’s everything we know about Fire Emblem Engage.
Story
Like many anthology RPG series, Fire Emblem doesn’t necessarily have one continuous narrative from game to game, but each game does share some common traits. In Fire Emblem Engage, 1000 years have passed since four kingdoms cooperated with each other and with heroes from other worlds to seal away the Fell Dragon on the continent of Elyos. As the evil prepares to reawaken, you emerge as Alear the Divine Dragon, a chosen hero who can bring back the heroes from other realms and seal the chaos dragon again.

Strictly Come Dancing 2022 LATEST: Everyone is saying the same thing as pro dancers engage in tense ‘feud’ during final
STRICTLY fans spotted a feud between two popular pro-dancers just moments after Hamza and Jowita lifted the Glitterball trophy.
Saturday’s spectacular two-and-a-half-hour Strictly extravaganza saw Hamza Yassin, Helen Skelton, Fleur East and Molly Rainford all battle it out to win the coveted Glitterball Trophy.
The Countryfile star scooped the crown after a showstopping final dance – but it seems some people were not happy with his triumph.
As the credits rolled Graziano Di Prima was seen going up to Giovanni before gesturing wildly in a heated discussion before they were ushered back to their co-stars to celebrate the newly crowned champions.
And fans were quick to spot the tense moment, with one saying on Twitter: “Could be me but did anyone see towards the end of strictly tonight something strange going on between Giovanni & Graziano?, while another exclaimed: “Looked like they were having a disagreement of some sort!!!”
