It’s time for Phase 5
During the Brazil’s Comic-Con Experience (CCXP), which celebrates all forms of fandom, Marvel premiered its new Ant-Man and Wasp: Quantumania trailer that shows Kang the Conquerer, played by Jonathan Majors, in an intimidating light.
Comics fans will know Kang to be one of Marvel’s greatest villains that will finally make the jump to the big screen in the third Ant-Man movie. Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lily reprise their roles as the titular superheroes, but along for the ride this time will be Scott Lang’s (Rudd) daughter, Cassie (Kathryn Newton). Check out the footage below.
Half of the footage tells Scott’s story and his evolution from petty criminal to world-saving superhero. In the comics, Scott is the second man to hold the Ant-Man title, and they kept that intact in the MCU with Michael Douglas being Hank Pym (who we saw in classic Ant-Man gear in Ant-Man and The Wasp).
Fast and Furious fans would do just about anything for actor Sung Kang. Case in point, they were so vocal about how poorly his character, Han, was treated, they all but convinced the studio to bring Han back for F9. Now though, Kang might need those fans to support him in a new way—by seeing a movie he made.

Jeff Loveness—the screenwriter who penned Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, which features Kang as its villain—is keeping on the beat of the Jonathan Majors character. He’s just been tapped to write Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, due as part of Marvel’s Phase Six slate of films.
